Change or Add Teams to an Offline Dynasty

Is there a way for me to quit a current contract and switch to a different team in the middle of a Dynasty? Even if I have to wait until the end of the season that's fine I just don't want to play...

What about the ability for online dynasties? That would be revolutionary in my mind. The ability to play with a group of people through a dynasty and not have to get together to do it.
