According to a post on EA Sports forums...the patch doesn't correct franchise stats issues or does it correct the fact that rookies, when edited, turn 26.

Madden 08- Third edition of the same engine...making it the 3rd year of Madden. No difference.

Besides, if you want to use that argument, then technically Madden shouldn't be a full priced game....

Yeah, but the glitches in Halo 3 don't keep me from playing the game. Big difference.

The franchise freezing bug completely wipes out an entire feature of Madden.

At this point, according to the newest producer blog on EA, the patch doesn't even fix the franchise freezing/ FA dissapearing problem.

It should allow you to change a player's position...but doesn't.

Best bet is to do what the guy above me said...make a Marcus Vick QB CAP (he doesn't have an image or anything anyways) copying all...

They didn't have to not include the features in Madden 06 on Next Gen...as I am pretty sure the first Madden PS2 game included all of the features of the Madden PSOne game and had updated graphics...
