Initially I was just ok with it, then I grew to love it, in the past few days I grew to hate it, then after receiving advice on how to "hot route" defenders, I think I am going to love it again.

MAN! Thank you!!!!!! I really appreciate it. I had no clue. I was this close to giving up on the game because of my lack of defensive success. This will definitely help!

Can someone explain to me how you "hot route" players for different assignments at the line of scrimmage? I am in the same boat as the original poster but it sounds like a lot of folks have it...
