I ran into the same issue, in my case it had to do with the settings on my external. I had to ensure the "When Xbox is off, turn off storage" setting was NOT enabled.

Late response, but 'No' I got the Scorpio edition from Best Buy on launch day and received a code though Xbox Live for the movie download.

In the same boat as you, the BestBuy here in Knoxville always do midnight things for games and consoles plus I had some Rewards to use up...win/win for me and this will get me some more Rewards.

You get a free month of EA Access with a digital preorder of Battlefield 1; I pre-ordered the digital version from the MS store because it came with a $10 credit and I received an Xbox live message...

I'm in the preview program and I had to uninstall Groove and then re-download from the store to get the UWP version. The previous version of Groove wouldn't show an update available.
