7 rounds doesn't mean anything if the scouting continues to be piss-poor, and the players don't improve. Simulate 10 years and you might not have a player rated in the 90s.

While I don't like the player models and skating as much, if the game plays a realistic brand of hockey and has a great franchise mode then they'll get my money.

It's ridiculous to sim 5-10 years and see 80% of the players rated between 78-82. This is sports, prospects progress/regress and older players regress/progress

Every hockey league I've been in has had 4 Defensemen and 2 starting goalies. Only having one goalie would lower the importance of drafting goalies imo.
