I have been using this editor and I notice that when you change everything first then change the player's name last you get less of this than if you change the player's name first thing.

Bullet Time activates when you make a very hard cut, but it doesn't have to be your first cut, though it usually is. You can use it for any offensive position, even after a catch.

Feedback is pretty accurate and has been for a while.

88 or so and above - expect a very good, clean game
80-88 - expect a largely clean game, but with a few oddities, like bunny hops thrown in...

The 05 is not in the same column each time. That was my mistake when I started as well. Just find the 7s and go to the beginning of them and the 05 08 or whatever should be there, and the CAPs are...
