I've seen the best simulation basketball in my lifetime after messing with sliders and editing tendencies, ratings, playbooks, etc.
Unfortunately editing every team takes a while.

Excellent point. The whole pitcher stamina/roles system in this game needs to be overhauled. Very few pitchers start their minor league career being groomed to be relief pitchers.
