You can't be online when you create the player. Log out of your account, create the player, save him, then log back in.

This has happened to me as well. Also, the game crashes (CE-34878-0) when I am scrolling through team rosters or signing free agents. Makes MYLeague unplayable at this point.

I'm basically waiting on news to drop on this. If this is not addressed, then I'm skipping this year. Hopefully, with all the negative feedback from 2K18, this was corrected.

The crazy thing about that if that's the case is that it will probably backfire on them. People will not buy the game next year because of the terrible CAP option. I know I'm not pre-ordering.
