One thing that it definitely does do is square you up to make your pass... their own tips on loading screens tell you that. So, if you're squared up to make the pass, you should throw a better...

I thought the whole point of this was to loft the ball over a linebacker that instantly jumps when you hit the pass button yet keep the ball from sailing into a deep safeties hands.

I wish there was a shotgun formation with split backs (offset) that had motion option/jet sweep/slot options. Then you could form sub in 3 rbs that way.

You can do that with some shotgun...

fyi the Spread playbook will work for a Shotgun offense without those dreaded formations.
