They should use it as a camera view. If a running back has a high awareness, the camera will be zoomed out farther than a running back with a lower awareness, and therefore making it easier to see...

I also assumed that if a NCAA player was 90 or greater they got in the draft class. But the case is odd about what was said about the 91 OVR GT HB.
