While there is no man-lock option (there needs to be), if you pick up on a tendency where the WR1 is in the slot, use the formation adjustments from the playbook screen, to have your CB1 or CB 2 play...

I've noticed comebacks routes have some issues. 80% of the time I throw it just as or before the WR is making a cut, and hold the stick to the outside with the intention of throwing to the open...

Just an FYI, teh defensie assignments are wacky in this game, and I find that if I assign anything other than my top CB on Their #1 WR, you start to see things like LB's covering flankers, etc etc.

Horrible advice. Just Horrible. Any player with any football knowledge is going to audible to the run for a quick 10 yd gain. Like I said. Man coverage to stop the screen, just like in real life.

Dude, I am telling you, that Man press coverage shuts down the WR screen 8 out of 10 times. Sometimes they'll get a 5-6 yd again. Once in a blue, they might break a big one if the blocks set perfect...

My thoughts exactly. They spent plenty of time doing hand towels and **** for madden 10. There should be 85% of development going to animations and gameplay for 11.

Mandatory things that need to be done:

Blocking/Line play - This should be the #1 priority for Madden 11. Everything needs a major overhaul. Starting with blocking logic, then suction animations....

Disagree. Most of his success is predicated on the pressure from his front 7. If he continues to shut down these top wr's, then they will have no choice to move him up. But a 95 means you are ELITE....
