After downloading the update the game says I need to download the update to continue. After that it takes me to the playstore, but I don't have the option to download update, only open/uninstall.

That works from the player's perspective, but why would the game designer implement that? They'd be giving away credits. There's no profit in that.

Let's say you're right about only the top 25 being able to do this. That's still 20 people who can effectively cheat their way to a pro version of a card that they'd otherwise never be able to get.
