How do I delete my old shoe files?

Its frustrating that every shoe I have ever created is under footwear. I already deleted the shoe in the shoe edit but its still in the myplayer shoe options. What to do?

I believe they are attempting to make The Option a commitment instead of just something you can run for fun once in a while.
