Patriots and Giants come to a trade agreement:

Patriots send TE Rob Gronkowski and receive RT Ereck Flowers + 2017 1st round pick.

Patriots have a good replacement at TE on the roster and need to get younger on the offensive line. Giants get an impact superstar at a needed position.

If approved, the trade won't be processed until week 8 when Gronk comes off the injury report.

Texans and Patriots come to a trade agreement:

Patriots send WR Brandon Lafell to Texans for a 2017 4th round pick. Lafell is in a contract year and Patriots don't intend to resign him. Texans are in need of a WR after losing Hopkins to injury for 7 weeks. It's a win/win for both teams.
