SFDL PS5 Madden 23 Sign Ups 31/32 Open Teams: Packers

The Sim Football Dedication League is a NON-Switch League devoted to 32 teams running realistic football strategies and schemes based on real life Xs and Os within the limitations of the game. This league has been running for 9 consecutive cycles now.

To this end, each USER is tasked with developing and cultivating a philosophy on both sides of the ball that is based on real world football principles. To employ a scheme to exploit the offense, defense, and opponent’s tendencies. As a group, we will avoid exploiting the limitations of the game (hereafter referred to as “Cheese”).

We believe in making Madden as sim as possible and providing a league that is for USERS who enjoy the chess match and strategic decisions around team building, play calling, and gameplay. We are not the home for stick skills/win at all cost mentality. Sim play with your opponent’s experience in mind is King in the SFDL. An online league is only as good as its members.

The league USERS must use Discord as the primary means of communication. The league also refers to a third-party website (https://mymadden.com/lg/sfdl) to keep track of stats, trade values, player moves, etc.

In order to fully develop a league and get deeper into a franchise we play 2 seasons consecutively and then (with some discretion) sim 1 season, allowing USERS to truly develop their rosters.

The SFDL has room for a few committed users going into the new year.
