Re: ACQB M10: FAQ Thread
Franchise System
1. You can franchise a player. That player will be paid base plus 25% or as an over 90 rated player, whichever is higher.
2. A player has no limits on the amount of times that he can be franchised. However after the initial franchise tag, any future franchise tags will cost base plus 30%.
3. A franchised players salary can be converted to a regular contract after the draft, but before the regular season begins. This will be left up to Random.org to determine if the player is willing to resign.
a)There will be a 10% chance that the player refuses to resign(if its his first time being franchised). If a player refuses then he becomes a FA the Next Season.(whatever system we have in place now.)
4. Franchised players can be traded. If you agree to trade a franchise player his new contract converts to a short or long term deal. At Base plus 10% or over 90 rating. Whichever is higher. Just request short or long. Then Random.org takes care of the rest.
5. Any player that is franchised more than once on the same team has a 90% chance of testing the market. Ths This will be random.org
Thanks and I hope you like my Idea. The tricky part is finding the right balance. You want there to be a steep price and risk, especially if you tag a guy more than once. They Hate that Ish. So I added a little something to liven it up. Most Teams wont even tag a player and that adds realism.
