ACQB M11 Strategy Thread

I've been playing on gameflow just so I could get use to the strategy pad and discovered the key to it I is to set your secondary up first then the line then linebackers(I played with the 49ers) I kept doing that in a pattern over and over now its become second nature to me. Oh and one important key is to start right after you break huddle so you can make minor adjustmentments before the snap. Another thing I discovered is alignment is the key this year especially against the run I've had one 100 yrd runner in four gms againt me and I'm getting pressure on the qb. Andro is right Mario is playing much better in this version I played the Cowboys w the Texans against the Cowboys and shutted them down pretty good Romo 11/23 168yrds 1td rushing was held to 52yrds on 18 carries Barber was a non factor. Anyways the game does need to be tweaked but I like how it plays compared to M10

Is the spotlight feature still in the game? I know when I hold the trigger I see a button for the players but I dont feel like it does a whole lot. Do you guys use it?

Spotlight is still in the game (right trigger + button of the guy you want to focus on).

But it definitely seems like they reduced the effectiveness of it.

Just another one of the many areas on defense that Tiburon somehow managed to make worse than last year.

I was getting the feeling it is having a placebo effect in some people. Still not sure either way.

It's in the game for sure; the orange circle will still appear under the player you tell your defense to spotlight.

But I question whether it even "does" anything anymore.

I see no difference in my defense whether I tell them to spotlight a player or not.

I thought spotlight wasn't there because of the instruction booklet, but you know what? The hitstick isn't in the instruction book either....
