Re: ACQB M11 Strategy Thread

Do you guys think passing is more timing based this year? I seem to struggle if guys are throwing on time with their routes. If I disrupt it in some way, I have more success. The same thing goes for offense. When I throw passes on time, I have a lot more success overall.

Also, what's the thought on the deep ball... do we still want to lead it to the sideline? I think we may just want to lay it out there deep and have our WR run under it? Is that possible in this game?

I think passing is more timing based. My thought on the deep ball is you can do both. I tend to throw away from defenders rather than to my wrs on some throws.

I do think passing is much more timing based this year. As for the deep ball I have had some good success by lobbing it and pushing up and toward the sideline.

Re: ACQB M11 Strategy Thread

It's not necessary to lead the deep ball toward the sidelines to be effective. I've completed a LOT of passes over 40 yards, and I just let it rip and run under the ball.

There is definitely timing based passing in this game. You can actually throw the out route before the break and watch it go where the route is going to end up. It's beautiful. The same for the stop route, and all the others I've observed.

There is still that break point in the route where you can get weird result sometimes, but my sense is that that point has been shrunk down so that if the route develops for any significant length of time it will be thrown properly.

Re: ACQB M11 Strategy Thread

Check Rocky's gameplans out. There's more data like this out there, some good excel sheets with number of plays per 15 of each type that you should put in for each situation.
