Eagles move to 2-0 with 33-21 victory over Cardinals



PHOENIX- The Eagles used a fierce pass rush and an emerging star at RB to gain victory over the Arizona Cardinals.

Montrell Gibbons led the leagues number 1 rushing attack with 120 yds and a TD and the defense bottled up the Cards run game and kept constant pressure on QB Kevin Kolb all game long.

The Eagles lost 3 stars for this game fairly early. RB Shady McCoy left with a concussion in the 2nd Q and CB Davasia Wells and WR DeSean Jackson also left with injuries.

CB Bruce Johnson nabbed a pick with the Cardinals driving with the Eagles only leading by 5. 2 plays later, Montrell Gibbons took a run 43 yards to put the game away.
