We know that this beginning of the season has been a real rough one, and we appreciate everybodies patience thru this time, to show our appreciation we are sending you all 1600 ms point cards!!!! psych!!!! j/k but we are doing something never done before in the SFL we will allow you starting at 12:01 tonight to pick up one free agent from the free agent pool and sign him to a league minimum contract(500k) for as long as you want, now this can be used now or at any time thruout the franchise, all you have to do is post in this thread who you wanna pick up and he is yours. you have to post on here first, you dont have to wait for approval, but your post has to be timestamped. like I said you can wait a season or two, or use it now.

I hate to wink in a room full of men but we probably shouldn't say anytime . You know there is a smart *** out there who would snap up some recently unsigned mega star in the offseason. I won't name any names or ever wink again. Any season is fine but how about we limit this to week 1 through 17?

Anyone who thinks they got shafted in free agency here is your chance to fill that space and cheap.

I'm picturing a team who doesn't make the playoffs announces than a low to mid 80s player isnt going to be resigned because he wants a bunch of money and they have depth. Someone sees this and claims him for league minimum since we aren't in the offseason yet. The odds of a great player getting dropped are not good but we all know a player in the low 80s can get PAID if he hits FA. That's why I said anytime mid season.

I see your point but a player cant be released until the offseason, and we will make it during the season or after free agency because we know some good players will be left because their demands are too high.
