I am interested in joining an online league for Xbox 360 but I am not sure how to do so. Can anybody help me in joining a league.

You'll have to play a game against someone in the league before you join.
You should look over the rules-very importnant!

I believe there are 4 teams still available- we are in season 2- about half way point in the season.
