Lambeau Ledger Version 8.0

Week 9 : Against Chuck E, Rodman Brooks returns from injury after being out 4 weeks and explodes (pause) for 260+ yards and 2 TD on only 16 carries but once again gets hurt and will miss another three weeks. Packers win by 10, improve to .500 after an 0-3 start to the season.

Week 10 : Clay returns after missing the whole season and puts up gaudy numbers against Richard but GB loses to MIN. The Packers are now 2-4 against Richard following the season sweep.

AJ Hawk was injured and will miss 3 weeks. The training staff will be let go after this season.

Going into week 11, the Packers are 4-5 but have a softer (pause) schedule ahead. Of the 5 losses, they come against owners who are currently a combined 29-4 on the season.

Packers win for 2nd time in the state of Texas

Joey Porter lead a determined Packer defense to a 51-13 victory against Houston. Porter, who was acquired in Free Agency for two years, had 7 total tackles, a qb tackle, and three forced fumbles. The Packers defense who also forced 4 interceptions, was on their game.

Green Bay is now .500 at 5-5 and is looking to finish off the season with this continued defensive effort. Green Bay has to face some tough competition the rest of the way out but with the injuries starting to get behind us, we may be ready to play our best ball of the year.

Starks leaves Panthers in Dark

After a huge win in Houston, Green Bay returned home to face Cam Newton and the playoff bound Panthers. The Panthers (7-4) have taken the SFL by storm since new owner "Someday" joined. The agony from Carolina was well heard and the disrespect was oozing from his mouth. Carolina was quoted...

Cam Newton and coach Someday complained about the strength of the Packers secondary but continued throwing in the direction of our playmakers. Old man Woodson had two picks and has three over his last two games.

James Starks led a Packer backfield that put up 167 yards. Starks carried the ball 22 times for 106 yards and three TD in what is hopefully his last game as the starting running back for season three. The Packers look to be injury free next week as the last two injuries return to the field, rookie HB Rodman Brooks and LB AJ Hawk.

Cobb gets his first kick return TD in win

The Packers traveled to Ford Field to play the much hyped Lions. After winning the coin toss , the Packers elected to receive. With only :07 off the board, Lions were up 7 after a first play pick six thrown by Rodgers. Rodgers game has been off lately and it's due to the QB coach, who will be fired along with the training staff after this season.

The remainder of the game was back and forth with both teams having intermediate success. The momentum seemed to shift though once Randall Cobb broke a 103 yard kickoff return for a TD. Rodman Brooks returned to the game this week after only playing in 6 previous games. He rushed for 162 on 22 attempts and was in solid form as usual. ...but as usual, he got hurt and had to sit out a few possessions.... Rodman needs to work on his health issues in the offseason if he wants to become a premier back in the SFL.

GG to Prime...I'm sure the rest of our matchups will be close contests as well.

Re: The Lambeau Ledger Year 3

Seahawks beat green bay after continuous cross patterns and no run pass balance. The game felt like jdattle needed this win or else he would break down cryin like a baby. Quit playing like that jdattle, mix up your play calling...It is about the win but not to the extent of playing the way you did. You did no screens, no curls, no play action, nothing but cross patterns or slants to the outside. I'm upset not that I lost, but just the fact that I had to play you and that pathetic gameplay.

...but I digress.

Packers now 7-6 on the year.

Re: The Lambeau Ledger Year 3

Pack handle colts in snow game at Lambeau

It was an all around great effort for Green Bay as Peyton Manning and the CPU controlled Colts visited Lambeau. The defense didn't allow a TD in what was a solid effort from the backfield; Woodson added a pick six in the fourth quarter to seal the game.

The offense was running on all cylinders as Aaron put up accurate numbers and Rodman Brooks rushed for 220 on 25 carries which included a 60 yard scamper. Rodman Brooks has only played in a portion of the games and of those games only 5 were injury free. With two games left to play, Rodman has already surpassed the 1000 yard rushing mark remarkably factoring in the time he missed. He leads all rushers with a 7.2 yards per carry and 121.1 yards rushing per game.

With the Packers needing a hail mary from the madden gods to make the playoffs in what could be F0RL3F's greatest year in his short time in the SFL, the Packers look to rebuild a stronger team next season to ensure playoffs.

No one cares. The only time someone else post in here is when the conversation involves you sucking at life (pause).
