Salary Cap

So I'm still relatively new to SFL, so I don't want to step on any toes with suggestions and league discussion topics, but I'm curious to know from other SFL members, since we use salary cap, should all trades presented by members, have to match salary cap wise? For example, 2 players with a total of 15 mil for 3 players with a total of 15 mil.

Last year using XFN, I believed we had I trade equal amount of players. I'm not sure how the online franchise will work out in '13, as I'm sure none of you are, but if it's possible, should equal salary cap be an option? It'll keep people like 4Leaf trying to trade Charles Woodson (say with a 12 mil. contract) for a player such as Morris Claiborne (say with a 3 mil. contract (I know it would never happen Turk)). So I just wanted to cause a league discussion, IMO either way doesn't matter, as I'm already used to the trading system in SFL, but with certain teams going to be over the cap (possibly) I think the salary cap trading thing would make the contracts and salary cap side to SFL more challenging and realistic.

For example, (created scenario) had Vishante Shaincodle stayed with the Vikings, he'd be like a 32 year old TE rated like 77 making about 5 mil. a year. The backup, Kyle Rudolph, an A potential last season, rated like 76, making about $770,000.

Ultimately, I think this could possibly cause less 'blockbuster' trades, maybe even more, but I just wanted to throw this 'idea' out to see if it's up for league discussion before 13 comes out.

Re: Salary Cap

Richard Boshington, have you read up on Madden this year? It might just answer your question. You're gonna have to be the best GM possible or suffer.... Doesn't matter if it's through trades or Free Agency.... Salary Cap implications are real. Best to be smart when making decisions this year. Luckily though, we can't impose sanctions and fines for the LB button, smfh..

Re: Salary Cap

From the knowledge of the Connected Careers blog, everything should be managed via the game. So in result, I don't see us using a Third-Party site like last year (My opinion, I don't know what Dubb may have planned). When you get a chance sir, read up on the update mode this year it will be able to answer all your questions about salary cap and any other jazz you may be concerned about. ----> (here) http://www.easports.com/madden-nfl/n...developer-blog

Side Note -There is no potential ratings.

Last Note - Don't ever call me "Turkey Leg" again.

Good Day, Boshington 3000
