The RAMpage: St. Louis Rams Team Page

Welcome to the RAMpage!
Your all access pass to the the SFL St. Louis Rams!

New Coach Nick Kohan will be taking over the Rams this year and hopes to make a big impact in the NFC this year. ' I'm looking forward to the SFL 2013 season and we have set high expectations for this team. I think we have a good shot at the division title even though we are considered the underdogs of the West. The players, coaches and everyone within the Rams organization are excited to get back to football' says Kohan.

Training Camp was great for all the players especially the rookies. Scrimmages are under way and the Rams are looking to surprise the league with Coach Kohan this '13.

Preseason Scrimmage 1:
Colts 27 - Rams 20

This Heated 'Underdog' matchup turned out to be an interesting one! The Colts and Andrew Luck show they aren't underdogs this year by starting off the game with a 17-0 lead over the Rams before the Half. Before the half was over, S. Jackson ran it into the endzone to make the score 17-7. The Colts looked nearly unstoppable at this point, and it continued into the 3rd Quarter. Midway through the 3rd, Luck added 7 more points to the board with a 1yd pass to Austin Collie. With the score now at 24-7, the Rams made a quick drive down the field to top it off with a 24yd pass to B. Quick. 24-14. The rest of the game consisted of FG's but turned out to come down to the wire. With a minute left in the game, Zuerlein made a 43yd kick to make it a 7 point game. While St. Louis had 3 time outs left, the Colts still were too much. Converting on a third down the Colts would run out the clock.

Andrew Luck lived up to the hype and played excellent. The Colts may be the underdogs but quietly could be contenders in the AFC South. On the other hand, St. Louis had a very slow start. The second half Coach Kohan got the team turned around and made the game pretty interesting towards the end. Sam Bradford was 13/19 178yds 1TD 1INT on the day. The Rams, said to be the weakest team in the NFC right now, showed some strengths in the second half and has some promising rookie starters.

Stats: (6Min QTR)
Andrew Luck 119.7 12/19 216YDS 63% 3TD 1INT
Sam Bradford 93.7 13/19 178YDS 68% 1TD 1INT

Donald Brown 14ATT 111YDS 7.9AVG 0TD
Steven Jackson 9ATT 67YDS 7.4AVG 1TD

Steve Smith 5Rec 81YDS
Donald Brown 3Rec 21YDS 1TD
