Sloppy start leads to last second loss in opener
Alldayy lost his second strait season opener 34-31, from a Carpenter 48 yard field goal as time expired.The offense moved the ball, collecting 487 yards and 23 first downs. Shaub racked up 435 passing yards, but threw 4 interceptions, also including the costly game changing pick 6 from his own 1. Foster had a quiet day with only 51 yards and a TD. AJ, Owen, and Kevin Walter all racked up over 100 yards receiving, and newley acquired rookie Alshon Jeffery caught a TD. The defense looked suspect at times but had its moments. Allday said this after "Cut down the interceptions and we'll be fine, got to be smart with the ball. Andrew played a good game.. Shout out to him. On to Jax"

Turnovers once again main factor, Texans downed 31-14 by the Jags
Same story as last week, Texans move the ball at will.. But turn it over 8 times. Can't win that way. Shaub had 381 yards, but threw 6... yes 6, to the other team, and fumbled once. Foster once again was not a factor with only 30 yards, and a costly fumble that went for 6, with seconds left in the half. The only bright spot right now for the Texans is their receiving core. Johnson had 195 through the air and Owen had 134, Jeffery also caught another touchdown. Alldayy said this "I'm just not a very good player right now.. plain and simple. We need to get Foster more involved, and somehow not throw quite as many interceptions. It's frustrating, but it'll be fixed... hopefully. Or else we're in for a long year and another high draft pick"

Texans prevail 24-17 over the Broncos as defense steps up in the 2nd Half
Texans get on the winning track as they win in Denver 24-17. The Texans only turned the ball over twice, with only one of those being an interception. Despite only having the ball for 12 minutes, the offense had a very efficient game and seems to be getting back on track. Schaub had a sharp game, throwing for 3 TD's and a passer rating of 108.1 . Foster was able to break a couple runs, running for 56 yards and 4.7 YPC. Owen Daniels had another big night, catching 6 balls for 101 yards and a TD.Schaub led a 97 yard drive for the lead as the Broncos pinned the Texans at the 3 with only 3 minutes left in the game. The story of the game was defintley some key late stops in the 2nd half. After Holliday had a costly fumble on the kickoff opening the 2nd half with the Texans up 17-14, the Defense stepped up and held Denver to a field goal. They also forced 2 straight punts as the Broncos for driving for the lead late, as well as getting 3 clutch picks in the game.

Schaub and Offense nearly perfect as Texans top Titans 38-17
After two ugly losses, the Texans look to be back at what people were predicting they would be in the preseason. The offense dominated with 450+ yards and 20+ first downs as the Texans won 38-17. They scored on their first 4 drives, and didn't turn the ball over. The defense held Chris Johnson in check and also forced 3 turnovers. Schaub's early slump seems to be well over as he threw for 351 yards, 4 Td's, and a nearly perfect passer rating. Foster also got out of his funk, getting 120 total yards with a TD. AJ had another 100+ yard game, and Owen added 2 more TD's to his impressive start. Cush was once again the man on defense, with 4 tackles for a loss and a sack. Alldayy said this "We look to be over the adjusting stage, and already in mid season form. The offense was electric, and the defense made plays and got to the QB. If we continue this play and not turn the ball over, the Texans will be a tough team." Houston travels to New York to play a talented Jets team, it should be a good one.

Matt Schaub wins Player of the Week Honors
Schaub wins AFC Player of the Week for his week 4 preformance vs the Titans. Where he had a passer rating of 153.8 and threw for 350 yards and 4 TD's. Schaub had a bad start to the season, but has turnt it up the last two games and looks to have a big season.

Texans outscore the Jets 41-38 in a Monday Night Shootout
If you like throwing the ball around, then this was the game for you. As both quarterbacks combined for over 1,000 yards passing.. The offense acquired a whopping 612 total yards and 26 first downs. tried to get the running game going, but Foster had a weak 37 yards on 18 carries, which forced Schaub to throw it 59 times. And that led to Schaub breaking a NFL Single Game Record with 594 yards. Texans win a close one

GG. I just wish individual match-ups was still in the game. kyle wilson or a linebacker was covering andre all game, and I couldn't put revis or cro on andre because he was always lined up as a slot receiver. I wish madden had a fix for that cause andre torched us.

I have two formations where it has the #1 lined up inside, and every time I saw man in those formations I knew who my first look was. It happens in the Nfl, Teams move around their best wr to prevent game plans and just creates mismatches if you're running man coverage. But I get what your saying abou the madden part! Goodluck this year man, you got a nice little offense

In the NFL, when the Jets play a team with a clear cut number 1 receiver, revis mirrors him every play for the whole game unless they are in an occasional zone. I doesnt matter where the receiver is lined up at. Snugs and Trips were the formations I saw alot and in real life thats not gonna cause a match up problem every time. But, gg and gl the rest of the way
