1 (4)
Baltimore Ravens
13-3
Winning the final game of the year against Cleveland puts Baltimore in the top position in the league. They are no doubt huge favorites in the playoffs, but one team they don't want to see is Cleveland. Good year for the Ravens.
2 (3)
San Francisco 49ers
12-4
My personal favorite team going into the postseason hasn't lost a game since starting 0-4 on the year. Colin Kaepernick has been outstanding, and the defense had another great year. This will be a sneaky team to watch this winter.
3 (2)
Atlanta Falcons
13-3
Ending the year with a demolishing 26-0 win over Chicago asserted their dominance, and ended a horrible collapse for the Bears. The Falcons have a bye in the first round, and will be a very scary team to play this postseason.
4 (1)
Cleveland Browns
13-3
Falling one win short against Baltimore puts Cleveland in the wild card round, but you still have to like their chances. A tough team to play in either venue will be a wild card weekend favorite..
5 (5)
New York Jets
12-4
Ending the year with a shutout does wonders for morale, but also crushing any playoff hopes for your division rivals helps. With the 5th best offense in the AFC, and the 7th in the NFL, the Jets have stuck with Mark Sanchez and it paid off. The pass game is outstanding, and the defense has been phenomenal.
6 (7)
Denver Broncos
12-4
The Brock Osweiler experiment worked, but more so, the Shonn Greene experiment worked. Shonn Greene led the league with almost 1500 yards rushing, and 13 touchdowns. The Broncos are a team that won their division early, then played it safe the rest of the year. The Broncos are not favorites despite winning the AFC West, because of their inexperience at quarterback, and inconsistency at defense. Regardless of their postseason outcome, things look very bright in Denver.
7 (11)
Indianapolis Colts
12-4
Led by the duo of Luck to rookie Max Simpson, the Colts won the AFC South over Houston, and have made themselves into a legitimate contender. Ahmad Bradshaw is in contention for the best acquisition of the offseason, rushing for 1000 yards and 7 touchdowns for a team that had no rush attack previously.
8 (6)
New York Giants
11-5
Eli Manning had a great year, leading the Giants to an NFC East title, but the best story was David WIlson's breakout year, rushing for 10 touchdowns and over 1000 yards. The Giants will continue their style of play, which includes making turnovers on defense, then making you pay with their great receiving corps.
9 (12)
Minnesota Vikings
11-5
The Vikings slumped, losing 4 of their last 6 games, most to teams in the playoffs. The Vikings will need to get more out of Adrian Peterson, who had one of his worst years rushing as a pro. The bright side is, rookie receivers Glass and Jones were as great as advertised, receiving for 1600 yards and 20 touchdowns.
10 (14)
Green Bay Packers
11-5
So thats what happens when you add a running back. With rookie Gary Pruitt, the Packers finally had a run game, as the rookie rushed for 1144 yards and 9 touchdowns. The Packers went on a late season tear, beating Super Bowl favorite Atlanta Falcons, and coming back to beat the explosive Detroit Lions. The Packers are a wild card, but did enough to establish their offensive supremacy.
11 (9)
Houston Texans
11-5
Matt Schaub had an MVP like year, throwing for over 6000 yards and 49 touchdowns, with three different 1000 yard receivers. The defense was great as well, shutting down opposing running backs. Arian Foster is still the key cog in this offense, rushing for 15 scores on the year. The Texans will be a tough matchup for any team in the postseason.
12 (10)
New Orleans Saints
10-6
Sneaking into the playoffs are the high flying Saints with their explosive offense. The Saints problems though lie in Drew Brees' 40 interceptions on the year, leading the NFL. If Brees can cut back on the turnovers, I like the Saints to make some noise in the postseason.
13 (8)
Washington Redskins
10-6
Hail to the Redskins! Missing the playoffs by one game is tough, but can you look at this season as a slump? RG3 is amazing, throwing 45 touchdowns to 18 picks, and rushing for 5 more. The addition of Peyton Hillis was great, as the power back was a great fit for the offense. The Redskins defense surprised this year, finishing top 10 in the league. Next year, the Redskins will be back to challenge for the NFC East crown.
14 (16)
Philadelphia Eagles
9-7
LeSean McCoy carried the Eagles all year long, rushing for a career high 15 scores and over 1000 yards, as Michael Vick threw 24 touchdowns, but could not cut down on turnovers, which eventually led to their postseason miss. The Eagles will need more from their defensive line and linebackers to stop the run if they want a chance against Robert Griffin III in their division, and the great David Wilson.
15 (15)
Cincinnati Bengals
9-7
Can you say enough about the Dalton to Green connection? Green accounted for 1/3 of Dalton's yards on the year, and almost half of his touchdowns. The quiet addition to this team was rookie Dominic King, who was 3 yards shy of a 1000 yard year, he added a dimension to the offense the Bengals haven't had since Cedric Benson.
16 (13)
Miami Dolphins
9-7
The Dolphins were a favorite of mine to make the wild card round, but fell to their rival Jets to miss the postseason. Ryan Tannehill had a good year despite the interception total. Reggie Wayne was a great acquisition in the offseason, but with his age, somebody needs to step up, or the Dolphins need to acquire another receiver.
17 (18)
Kansas City Chiefs
8-8
The Chiefs became one dimensional this year, as Jamaal Charles rushed for ONE touchdown on the year, and Jay Cutler threw 35 interceptions. The Chiefs need to become more two dimensional, because when they do, this is a scary team to face.
18 (19)
Buffalo Bills
7-9
Xavier Slaughter is not rookie of the year, but he is coolest name of the year front runner. The Bills improved defensively, but regressed at the quarterback position, as Aaron Corp had 40 turnovers by himself on the year. He will need to address this issue.
19 (17)
Chicago Bears
8-8
The Bears need a new quarterback, and that was the key issue in their collapse. The Bears looked like contenders until Kellen Moore came back to earth, and the offense came with him. Matt Forte is the only player worth mentioning. The Bears will be looking to address the quarterback situation, and if not, the fans should be extremely upset.
20 (21)
Seattle Seahawks
7-9
Russ Wilson had a decline from his great rookie year, throwing more interceptions than touchdowns. Marshawn Lynch carried the offense again, with 10 touchdowns on the year. The Seahawks will have to address their receiving corps this offseason, as Randy Moss will no doubt be gone, and their next top receiver was the tight end Kellen Winslow.
21 (22)
Detroit Lions
6-10
The Lions almost played spoiler to the Packers in the final week of the year, but had a great year with the new coach signing. Calvin Johnson was utilized more, and the run game was dynamic with Jahvid Best. The Lions will no doubt be on the upswing next year.
22 (20)
Dallas Cowboys
7-9
Another nice year statistically for Tony Romo was not enough, as the Cowboys were the odd ones out in a very tough division. DeMarco Murray had a slumping year, averaging only 3.2 yards per carry, and the Dallas defense disappointed. Dallas is a team I like to step up next year after a down year.
23 (23)
St. Louis Rams
6-10
The Rams will need to really consider a change at quarterback, as Sam Bradford continues his decline. The run game will also be addressed, as Steven Jackson was on his last leg this year. Look for a big chance in the Rams key positions by September.
24 (24)
Oakland Raiders
4-12
Ron Dunson had a great year in his first year starting for the Raiders, but that was about it. The run game was nonexistant, and the defense was terrible, especially in turnovers. The Raiders need to find a more balanced offensive attack this offseason.
25 (26)
Tennessee Titans
4-12
The league's third worst defense gave games away, but Jake Locker's turnovers really killed this team. Throwing one more touchdown than interceptions is not a good year. Chris Johnson scored 15 touchdowns, but did not have the rushing yard output we are used to seeing from him. The Titans will need to find a corner to boost their secondary.
26 (25)
New England Patriots
6-10
Tom Brady's worst season in years led to the decline of the Patriots. 18/18 touchdown/interception ratio held the offense back, despite a strong performance from the run game. The defense needs more turnovers though, as the defense ranked bottom 5 in all turnover categories.
27 (28)
Carolina Panthers
4-12
Cam Newton saved his season following a terrible first half, and having a great second half to remind his club why they drafted him. The defense needs a huge improvement, but young key players like Luke Kuechly and Stevenson Sylvester will be the future of the defense.
28 (27)
Pittsburgh Steelers
3-13
The defense was terrible, but the passing attack was record setting. Ben Roethlisberger and Mike Wallace combined for 2428 yards and 17 scores on the year. The problems are all on defense, as the aging squad is coming off of their worst season in 13 years.
29 (30)
Jacksonville Jaguars
3-13
Blaine Gabbert cannot be the answer in Jacksonville, nearly doubling his interceptions to touchdowns. The thing you have to wonder is, where would this team be without Maurice Jones-Drew?
30 (31)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
3-13
It is a miracle the Bucs won 3 games with how terrible both facets of their game was. Doug Martin had a sophomore slump, and Josh Freeman lost his starting job, to rookie Jack Kane who showed some promise. The Bucs need to address their defensive issues though, as they were one of the worst in the league.
31 (29)
Arizona Cardinals
2-14
The Cardinals will lose Kurt Warner this offseason, so now what? They have no quarterback, no run game, and their defense was terrible this year. The draft this year will be key to any sort of improvement next year.
32 (32)
San Diego Chargers
0-16
Fitting end to the Chargers season. They have tied the Detroit Lions for the worst season in NFL history. There will no doubt be a complete overhaul this offseason.
Week 16 Power Rankings
After a week full of upsets, the top 10 have seen a big makeover. Some big stories include the close race in the AFC North, AFC East, and the NFC North. And will the Chargers go 0-16?

1 (2)
Cleveland Browns
12-2
The Browns overtook the Ravens in the ever-competitive AFC North, and they are very deserving of this #1 rating. The Browns got here from a consistent year of hard-nose running from Trent Richardson, and a very great year from Brandon Weeden and his receivers. A matchup with the Ravens in Week 17 will likely determine the division if the Browns lose this week.
2 (4)
Atlanta Falcons
11-3
The Falcons bounced back after a loss to blowout their rival Saints, and take control of the NFC South again. Matt Ryan and Julio Jones continue to make history this year, hooking up for 144 yards and 2 more touchdowns. The surprise this week was rookie runningback Marcus Frink, who ran for 127 yards, which was definitely a difference-maker in this offense.
3 (6)
San Francisco 49ers
11-3
A huge win for the 49ers, proving they are one of the best teams in the NFL with a statement win at Baltimore. Despite Kaepernick having an off week, the defense and the run game carried the team to an 11th straight victory, against arguably one of the best teams in the NFL.
4 (1)
Baltimore Ravens
11-3
Where has Ray Rice been? The Ravens were simply outmatched against the 49ers this week, and with Rice rushing for 24 yards, the offense became one-dimensional. The Ravens fall behind the Browns, and now are focused on staying in the wild card race, because now nothing is guaranteed.
5 (3)
New York Jets
10-4
A disappointing loss by the Jets had been pinned on Sanchez's 4 turnovers, but I am pointing towards the lack of a run game. Wesley Wells has been having a good year, but in close games, he has been invisible. The Jets cannot just ride the season out anymore, because the Dolphins are only one game behind.
6 (8)
New York Giants
10-4
The Giants and Redskins stay tied atop the NFC East, and with no divisional games left, they must win out to win the division. Two matchups against slumping clubs though may do the trick, as they host the Rams this week, then the Vikings the last week of the season.
7 (5)
Denver Broncos
10-4
3 more interceptions from Brock Osweiler led to the loss for the Broncos, who have locked up their division, but seem to be losing some momentum. The Broncos could get some back this week, as they face the Chargers.
8 (12)
Washington Redskins
10-4
Another clutch win for Robert Griffin III as they staged a 24 point comeback in the 4th quarter at Lambeau Field. The Redskins had no run game whatsoever this week, and that is what their team is built around. They need to get Peyton Hillis going again this week if they want to catch the Giants.
9 (10)
Houston Texans
10-4
A nice win by Houston keeps them in control of the AFC South over the Colts. This week, the matchup between the two will no doubt determine who wins the division. It is easily the game of the week.
10 (7)
New Orleans Saints
10-4
The Saints had a chance to take over the NFC South, but the Falcons proved they are still the class of this division. Surprisingly, the run game was a huge factor agains the Saints this week, as they were gashed for almost 500 total offensive yards. The Saints now need to win out and take one of the two wild card spots.
11 (13)
Indianapolis Colts
10-4
In a trap game for the Colts, Andrew Luck had one of his worst games this year, but still pulled out the victory against Tampa. The Colts appear to be playoff bound as a wild card, but need to keep winning to guarantee it. The hidden gem of the Colts? Ahmad Bradshaw, racking up 100 yards and a touchdown again.
12 (9)
Minnesota Vikings
9-5
The Vikings lose another game, and slip into a tie atop the NFC North with the Packers. The Vikings need better play from their offense if they want to win this division, and a matchup against the reeling Bears could be a perfect cure.
13 (14)
Miami Dolphins
9-5
One week it's Reggie Bush dominating, the next it is Reggie Wayne. These Dolphins are now one game behind the Jets. Week 17 will be a decisive game for this club, as they have a chance to win the division.
14 (11)
Green Bay Packers
9-5
The Packers had a chance to move in front of the Vikings this week, but they blew a lead in the 4th quarter, and gave up 24 points to the Redskins, letting them fall into another tie with Minnesota. The Packers will need to rely on the Bears and Lions on beating the Vikings so they can move ahead.
15 (15)
Cincinnati Bengals
9-5
A nice win the Bengals keeps them in the AFC chase, but it's too bad that they are in such a crowded division. The Bengals need to hope to get the #6 wild card spot, and it starts by them beating the Ravens this week.
16 (18)
Philadelphia Eagles
7-7
A divisional loss to the Giants has more than likely eliminated the Eagles, despite them picking off Eli 3 times and keeping him out of the endzone. The Eagles run defense will need to improve this offseason, it appears to be the biggest hole in this usually stout defense.
17 (16)
Chicago Bears
8-6
The Bears are more than likely out of the playoffs after this 3 game losing streak, falling 1 game behind both the Packers and the Vikings. Troy Smith started in place of Kellen Moore, and looked horrible. The Bears seem to have lost all confidence, and need to go back to the drawing board this offseason on their quarterback situation.
18 (19)
Kansas City Chiefs
6-8
Another huge upset this week, as the surprising Chiefs took down the Jets in a close game. Jay Cutler, despite the turnovers, continues to win games by playing his brand of football, even if it isn't by the book. This is a great win for a team that disappointed this year, proving they can compete with the elite teams in this league.
19 (22)
Buffalo Bills
6-8
The Bills continue their late season surge, and it will more than likely be all for naught. Aaron Corp is still answering his doubters though, continuing to limit turnovers that plagued him early on. The Bills need to improve their defense still, but they are not as far off as people think.
20 (17)
Dallas Cowboys
7-7
The Cowboys have essentially been eliminated after such a strong start to the year with a loss to Buffalo. Just another page in the Cowboy story book of being overhyped, then coming back to earth in the end.
21 (21)
Seattle Seahawks
6-8
Seattle may be out of the playoff race, but beating Arizona in a close game looks nice for the future. Russell Wilson had a nice game, and so did Marshawn Lynch. The defense still is underperforming, and lacks solid linebackers.
22 (23)
Detroit Lions
5-9
In one of the upsets of the week, the Lions upset the Vikings and really stirred things up in the playoff race. More important, this Lions team looks very dangerous since their coaching change. Its too bad it took that long for a change.
23 (20)
St. Louis Rams
5-9
Week in and week out we talk about Sam Bradford's regression, but then his club blows out the Chicago Bears 55-3. The real question is, was this a trend or mirage? But at least for one week, the Rams can feel confident in their quarterback situation.
24 (25)
Oakland Raiders
4-10
Nothing like boosting your rookie quarterback's confidence with a nice win over the Chargers. Throwing 5 touchdowns and 490 yards is a nice rebound. The Raiders will be a contender after their defense issues are fixed.
25 (24)
New England Patriots
5-9
The Patriots ran into the red hot Dolphins and were blown out, mustering half the yards the Dolphins did. Will Tom Brady want out of New England?
26 (26)
Tennessee Titans
3-11
Look on the bright side, they didn't allow 50 points this week. But same story about their offense, they scored 6 points. The regression of Jake Locker has been shocking, and Chris Johnson is playing like he wants to hang up the cleats.
27 (27)
Pittsburgh Steelers
3-11
The Steelers won the battle of yards, but lost the turnover battle. Mendenhall had another forgettable game, and the defense let the team down again. What is next for this disappointing squad?
28 (30)
Carolina Panthers
3-11
A morale boost fo the Panthers, as Cam Newton is having a nice second half to the season, although it is coming way too late. This is another team that will be looking towards defense this April.
29 (28)
Arizona Cardinals
2-12
Who saw that offensive explosion? It seems like a bad joke to Arizona fans, because their offense finally performs the way it was supposed to, and their defense gives up 44 points. Kurt Warner actually threw his helmet after the game. Its that bad.
30 (29)
Jacksonville Jaguars
2-12
In the battle of mediocrity, the Jags couldn't pull out a win, and inch closer to the #2 or #3 overall pick in the draft. They will no doubt be looking at defense in the draft, as Blaine Gabbert is playing well despite the team losing.
31 (31)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
2-12
The Bucs actually came close to upsetting the Colts this week, but offensive woes slow them again. Rookie Jack Kane isn't making Buccaneers fans forget about Josh Freeman.
32 (32)
San Diego Chargers
0-14
The 0-16 Lions are ready to pop the champagne. They Chargers may very well join them in 2 weeks.
Week 15 Power Rankings
As the playoff picture begins to form, some teams rise, some plummet, and others stay right where they were. The Bears may be slipping out of it, as teams such as the 49ers, the Texans, and the Packers are emerging.

1 (1)
Baltimore Ravens
11-2
The divisional game between the Bengals and Ravens was completely one sided, in favor of Baltimore. The Ravens rushing attack was shut down, and the game was on Flacco's shoulders, and he delivered. 3rd straight week atop the rankings.
2 (2)
Cleveland Browns
11-2
Another blowout for the Browns against Arizona, who look disinterested on the field. The Browns are just motivated on catching the Bengals now, and they finally meet again in Week 17.
3 (3)
New York Jets
10-3
Another dominant win for the Jets, and Mark Sanchez. They only need to worry about the Dolphins, otherwise they have locked up the division. The Jets will be an interesting team come playoff time.
4 (4)
Atlanta Falcons
10-3
What a game, the Falcons rallied in the 4th quarter to beat the Giants. It is honestly same story new week with this team. Another 200 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns for Julio Jones. Is he the greatest of all time already?
5 (5)
Denver Broncos
10-3
Denver dominated Minnesota in the turnover category, picking off Christian Ponder 3 times, and shutting down the run game. Ronnie Hillman had a great day, rushing for 122 and 3 scores. The Broncos have clinched the division, and are playing right now to lock up the 1st seed and homefield advantage.
6 (8)
San Francisco 49ers
10-3
The 49ers are the hottest team in the NFL right now, riding a 10 game win streak, and steamrolling teams in the process. Putting up another 59 points on the Steelers puts the 49ers in control of the NFC West. This will be a very scary team come playoff team, due to the much improved play of Colin Kaepernick, and the emergence of LaMichael James.
7 (9)
New Orleans Saints
10-3
The Saints offense pulled away in the 2nd half against a tough Seattle team. Drew Brees had another great performance, and is leading this team to a tie with the Falcons.
8 (6)
New York Giants
9-4
Tough loss for the Giants, giving up 14 points in the 4th quarter. This team is still the NFC East elite despite Washington looming. David Wilson is the key to this team's success.
9 (7)
Minnesota Vikings
9-4
What is happening to the Vikings? They have lost 2 of their last 3, and have looked bad doing so. Only gaining 200 yards, and Adrian Peterson only accounted for 43 of that. That is a real problem.
10 (11)
Houston Texans
9-4
Another big win for the Texans, as they continue their hot streak to the top of the AFC South, staying at pace with the Colts. Schaub is playing MVP like football, throwing 400 yards and 4 touchdowns for the 2nd time in 3 weeks. Arian Foster has been unstoppable, and the defense is still great. Is this the best 9-4 team? I think so.
11 (10)
Green Bay Packers
9-4
Not their best offensive performance, but the Packers got it done. Their defense shut down the Bears offense, and they move a game ahead of them, and tie the Vikings atop the North. Could this be the year the Packers make some playoff noise?
12 (12)
Washington Redskins
9-4
Remember Rex Grossman? Remember John Beck? The Redskins are a completely new football team now, demolishing their division rivals, and tying the Giants atop the NFC East. Robert Griffin III had a performance for the ages, throwing for 7 touchdowns and 602 yards. Watch out for RG3 and this squad, nobody wants to play this team.
13 (15)
Indianapolis Colts
9-4
Another win for the Colts keeps them competing with the Texans for the division title. The Colts passing game seems nearly unstoppable some weeks, as the acquisitions of Sidney Rice, and the rookie Max Simpson have electrified this offense.
14 (16)
Miami Dolphins
8-5
The Dolphins could have played backups against San Diego, and still win 34-0. Their win streak continues, as they chase the Jets in the AFC East.
15 (14)
Cincinnati Bengals
8-5
Tough loss for the Bengals, but they were simply outmatched in baltimore. Good news is, their run defense is great, limiting Ray Rice to 42 yards. The Bengals will need to focus on getting a wild card spot.
16 (13)
Chicago Bears
8-5
Game of the week against the Packers? Not so much. The Bears mustered 3 points, and 159 total yards. This could be the beginning of the Bears postseason slip.
17 (17)
Dallas Cowboys
7-6
Talk about a buzzkill. The Cowboys went to Washington with hopes to get a game behind Washington, instead they get blown out, downright embarrassed. They allowed over 600 offensive yards, and 52 points to the Redskins. This may have killed their playoff hopes.
18 (18)
Philadelphia Eagles
7-6
Despite a poor performance from Vick, the Eagles still managed to win and stay in the hunt on LeSean McCoy's back. It looks slim, but the Eagles have a chance if they can win out.
19 (24)
Kansas City Chiefs
6-8
The Chiefs continue their win streak with a big win over the Raiders, as Jay Cutler had a great bounceback game. What has happened to Jamaal Charles though? Another forgettable game, rushing for 34 yards and a fumble.
20 (22)
St. Louis Rams
4-9
Scoring 9 points against a pathetic Bucs team is embarrassing. Sam Bradford is inching closer to bust status each and every week. Will he have another shot next year with the Rams?
21 (19)
Seattle Seahawks
5-8
Another tough loss for the Seahawks, who are simply trying to get back to .500. Marshawn Lynch has been the consistent factor on this team, but the pass game needs to improve. Randy Moss cannot be their number one option next year.
22 (21)
Buffalo Bills
5-8
The Bills playoff hopes were crushed by Philadelphia this weekend, as the Bills run game was nonexistent. Aaron Corp played a good game, but the Bills problem has been the lack of consistency. Their entire team needs to click for them to succeed.
23 (26)
Detroit Lions
4-9
The new attitude of the Lions came too late, as they have been eliminated long ago, but now are crushing teams in their path. Calvin Johnson is unstoppable, scoring 3 touchdowns, and 7 in his last 3 games.
24 (20)
New England Patriots
5-8
The Patriots needed the win against the Jets to stay in the hunt, but instead they were blown out. A dreadful season for Brady and company is winding down, with lots of questions to ask this offseason.
25 (23)
Oakland Raiders
3-10
I'll say it again as I do every week, this defense is terrible. They get no production from their run game, and their rookie Ron Dunson cannot do it all himself, which led to 5 interceptions. The Raiders need to find another viable option in the offense, and add some playmakers on defense.
26 (25)
Tennessee Titans
3-10
Can the year just end for the Titans? Tennessee fans must love being in a division with the Colts and the Texans. The Titans defense allowed 50 points for the 4th time this year. Yes your read that correctly.
27 (27)
Pittsburgh Steelers
3-10
The odd team out in the AFC West drops another game, and is blown out in the process. Remember when the Steelers defense was vaunted, and won games by itself? Well now it loses games by itself, by allowing 600 total offensive yards, and 59 points. Ouch.
28 (28)
Arizona Cardinals
2-11
Poor Kurt Warner. The guy tries his best, but there is nothing around him. It'll be nice to see him on NFL Network again next year.
29 (29)
Jacksonville Jaguars
2-11
4 turnovers doom the Jags against the Colts, which is the story of their season. Gabbert has been solid all year outside of his erratic turnovers.
30 (30)
Carolina Panthers
2-11
The Panthers defense is horrible. Thats all you can really say. Their offense can win them games, but when you get torched for 40+ points week in and week out, it is very tough to win.
31 (31)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
2-11
Yes, that is not a mistake, the Buccaneers got a victory! But it was not pretty. Scoring 13 points is not going to silence the doubters.
32 (32)
San Diego Chargers
0-13
The Chargers scored as many points last Sunday as they have wins. Not joking.

1 (1)
Baltimore Ravens
10-2
Week in and week out the Ravens continue to dominate. Doubters arose last week, but the Ravens answered by laying 48 points on Jacksonville, and allowing 3. Oh, and they allowed 116 total yards of offense. Yeah, they're pretty good.
2 (3)
Cleveland Browns
10-2
The Browns deserve to be #2, but unfortunately for them, they only sit behind their arch rival Ravens. Their run defense has been suffocating, holding the Rams last week to under 50 yards rushing.
3 (6)
New York Jets
9-3
Shutting out an explosive Eagles offense would move them up to #4. Putting 54 points on them and possessing the league's 2nd best offense moves them to #3. As Stephen A. Smith would say, "So disrespectful!" about Mark Sanchez doubters. Can he be stopped? Another 5 touchdown performance makes these Jets look like Super Bowl contenders Oh you got me..I'm sold.... J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!
4 (2)
Atlanta Falcons
9-3
The Falcons offense, no doubt, is nearly unstoppable, but when your defense can't get stops, it won't matter. Atlanta has struggled against good offenses as of late, which could raise questions come playoff time.
5 (5)
Denver Broncos
9-3
In the upset of the week, the Broncos went to Miami and were humiliated. The Dolphins passing attack could not be stopped, and the Broncos passing attack could not get going. The Broncos have locked up the division, and of course are playing meaningless games, but when they have to face tough teams in the playoffs, how will young Brock Osweiler fare?
6 (7)
New York Giants
9-3
Was there a better idea than allowing David Wilson to lead a rushing attack by himself without Ahmad Bradshaw? I don't think so. This kid is explosive, and dominates games. Not to mention the defense is playing great. Watch out for these Giants, they'll make some noise in January.
7 (4)
Minnesota Vikings
9-3
Despite a win, the Vikings drop due to their poor performance against a very weak Carolina team. The Panthers have had one of the worst teams all year, and the Vikings snuck out with a 3 point victory. The Vikings defense will need to step up if they want to compete in the playoffs.
8 (9)
San Francisco 49ers
8-4
So Seattle came into this game motivated right? A shot at the hated 49ers and to get back in the playoff race? It was never close, as San Fran laid 56 points on a tough Seattle defense. And not to mention they absolutely shut down Seattle's offense.
9 (10)
New Orleans Saints
9-3
Big win for the Saints, who have now tied the Falcons at the top of the NFC South. The passing attack was good as usual, but the biggest surprise was the run defense, holding Matt Forte to under 30 yards rushing.
10 (13)
Green Bay Packers
8-4
Watch out for the Pack. Riding a month long win streak, the Packers just took down the feared Atlanta Falcons, on a 28 point 4th quarter comeback which was easily game of the week. The Packers are one game behind Minnesota, and must be licking their chops at a shot to take the division.
11 (15)
Houston Texans
8-4
0 rushing yards allowed. Thats how tough this Texans defense is. They also have an outstanding scoring attack, led by Matt Schaub, enjoying one of his best years. The Texans stay atop the AFC South, but their record does not reflect their recent dominance.
12 (11)
Washington Redskins
8-4
What a bounce back game for RG3, throwing 5 touchdowns and having a perfect passer rating in the rout of the Bills. And here is the best stat from that game, The Bills had 5 rushing yards. 5. The amount of touchdowns Griffin III threw. This is a scary team.
13 (8)
Chicago Bears
8-4
With a loss at home to the Saints, the Bears drop far in the rankings due to the surging Packers. The Bears need something more from their offense. They intercepted Drew Brees 5 times, and only mustered 17 points. And Matt Forte had a career low day. The pressure is no doubt being put on in Chicago.
14 (12)
Cincinnati Bengals
8-4
The Bengals are sitting in a very tough position, 2 games behind the Browns & Ravens. They need to win out to have a shot at the division crown. But off this subject, how good is A.J. Green? 213 yards and a score? #FantasyFootballGod
15 (14)
Indianapolis Colts
8-4
Big win for the Colts as they picked apart the Steelers, and stay in the race against Houston. Andrew Luck continues to be a surgeon on the field, throwing for 4 touchdowns and 361 against a tough Steelers defense. Week 16 against Houston must be circled on their calendar.
16 (17)
Miami Dolphins
7-5
A huge win by Miami puts them back in the hunt behind the Jets. Ryan Tannehill silenced his critics with a perfect performance against a tough Broncos defense, and Reggie Bush continues his dominant year. This is not a team I would sleep on.
17 (16)
Dallas Cowboys
7-5
The Cowboys had a chance to get into the NFC East race, and laid an egg against the Giants. The explosive offense was completely shut down by the Giants, and the Cowboys had 4 turnovers. They are not out of it, but these are the kinds of losses that could kill a season.
18 (18)
Philadelphia Eagles
6-6
As Philly fans get excited for a playoff run, they run into the Jets, who shut them out. Going into this game, Michael Vick was having a very solid year. After this game, he tallied 119 yards on, and added 7 interceptions to his stat line. Philly fans, put that loss in the rear view mirror, and focus on catching Dallas.
19 (19)
Seattle Seahawks
5-7
Thats one way for the balloon to burst. Seattle essentially was just eliminated after losing to the 49ers in such poor fashion. The pass defense is the main concern, as they allowed Colin Kaepernick to throw for 567 yards.
20 (22)
New England Patriots
5-7
The Patriots save their season with a big comeback win against the Chiefs. Tom Brady continues to have a slump, but it was enough to beat Kansas City, and climb within two games behind Miami. With only 4 games to go, the Patriots will have to win out to have a shot.
21 (20)
Buffalo Bills
5-7
Aaron Corp continues to struggle, throwing another interception to zero touchdowns against Washington. The offense has been sporadic this year, as C.J. Spiller had a terrible performance, rushing for 5 yards. The Bills fall behind New England in the East, and the postseason looks bleak.
22 (21)
St. Louis Rams
4-8
And the hopes begin to slip for St. Louis, as the run game appears to be non-existant. Sam Bradford continues to slump, and on a 3 game losing streak, the Rams blew what could have been a playoff run.
23 (23)
Oakland Raiders
3-9
Ron Dunson continues his impressive rookie year, but that is really the only thing worth watching in Oakland. The defense is terrible, allowing another 550 yards of offense to a very weak Tennessee team. Oakland will no doubt look to bolster their secondary in the draft.
24 (24)
Kansas City Chiefs
4-8
The acquisition of Jay Cutler appears to be a mistake so far. Blowing a 13-0 lead in the 2nd half to lose 23-13? That goes on the quarterback's inability to convert on 3rd downs, and put up points. Kansas City fans hope for a change next year, no doubt.
25 (26)
Tennessee Titans
3-9
A nice morale boost for Jake Locker and the Titans but putting up 43 points against the terrible Raiders, but there are still problems in Tennessee. Their defense is beyond inconsistent, which holds back this team. The offense has looked good as of late, as Chris Johnson is re-emerging in the top rushers.
26 (27)
Detroit Lions
3-9
I guess the old saying about getting your first win against the Chargers is true. A nice win for Coach Adelmann in his career, but the concern is Matthew Stafford's accuracy. He continues to throw interceptions, and these will need to be cut down. But on the bright side, nobody can cover Calvin Johnson.
27 (25)
Pittsburgh Steelers
3-9
The odd team out in the most competitive division in the NFL, the Steelers seem to have checked out. Allowing 43 points to Andrew Luck is one thing, but only putting up 18 points against an average defense? Roethlisberger continues to struggle with turnovers, and the run game is a complete non-factor.
28 (28)
Arizona Cardinals
2-10
How can Kurt Warner continue to play? Must be a loyalty thing to Larry Fitzgerald. He looks lost out there, as the Bengals pass rush absolutely embarrassed the Cardinals offensive line. A bright spot? Michael Floyd continues to rack up the yards on the year, proving to be a good second option in this passing attack.
29 (29)
Jacksonville Jaguars
2-10
Ouch, 3 points against the Ravens. Blaine Gabbert was speechless after the game. I would be too, if I threw for 100 yards and 6 interceptions.
30 (30)
Carolina Panthers
2-10
A valiant effort by Cam Newton against the tough Vikings. But a valiant effort does not count as a win, thus the slip to 10 losses. The season cannot end early enough for the Panthers.
31 (31)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
1-11
Gotta give them some credit for putting up a good fight against a good team, but it wasn't enough. This offense is still struggling, sitting only in front of San Diego's excuse for an offense.
32 (32)
San Diego Chargers
0-12
It is almost getting embarrassing. Is Ryan Mathews one of the biggest running back busts of all time? And what happened to the offense? They have scored 135 points in 12 games. Think about that, 11 points a game!!

1 (5)
Baltimore Ravens
9-2
In all three phases of football, this team has been dominating. They have risen to the top of the NFL due to clutch performances, and their ability to blowout teams that, on paper, they should blowout. Ray Rice and Torrey Smith have been dominating, and it will be very interesting to see this team compete against Cleveland and Cincinnati down the stretch.
2 (1)
Atlanta Falcons
9-2
The Falcons continue to have a dominating offense, but they struggle in tough defensive matchups. Their loss to the Vikings made me wonder how far this team can really go come playoff time, which is why they fall one spot. A matchup against a tough Packer team will either solidify their "elite" status, or raise more questions.
3 (4)
Cleveland Browns
9-2
The Browns continue to chase the Ravens in the AFC North with a dominating win over Jacksonville. Brandon Weeden and Trent Richardson continue their great seasons, while the defense continues to step up. The defense sacked Gabbert 9 times, and forced 3 turnovers. The matchup against Baltimore looks more interesting every week.
4 (2)
Minnesota Vikings
8-3
The best offense from the Vikings on Sunday was the leg of Josh Brown, as the Vikings really struggled in the red zone. Christian Ponder threw 3 interceptions to his lone touchdown pass to Harvin. Peterson was kept out of the end zone despite rushing for over 100 yards and catching 40 more. If the Vikings cannot capitalize on red zone opportunities, they will struggle against teams that are more explosive.
5 (3)
Denver Broncos
9-2
The Broncos took down a tough Jets team on Sunday, and did so with very little offense. The defense forced 3 turnovers, all leading to scores, and ultimately their victory. Shonn Greene continues to be a huge addition to the team, giving the Broncos a dimension they didn't have with just Brock Osweiler.
6 (6)
New York Jets
8-3
Tough loss for New York against a tough Broncos team, despite another big day from Mark Sanchez. Turnovers again kill the Jets, one of which led to a touchdown. The Jets still need more out of their rush game though to balance their great passing attack, as rookie Wesley Wells only rushed for 50 yards on 13 carries.
7 (8)
New York Giants
8-3
The Giants now control the NFC East after a dominating defensive performance, which included 2 defensive touchdowns. Eli Manning played another good game, limiting turnovers, and converting key 3rd downs. The Giants show signs of their past championship teams, because the true strength of this team is their defense. By shutting down RG3, they have proven they still have it.
8 (9)
Chicago Bears
8-3
Kellen Moore continues to surprise every week, and this one might have been the best in a comeback victory against Oakland on the road. With little production from Matt Forte, Moore carried the team, and limited turnovers. The Bears continue to surprise, and will now challenge the Vikings for division supremacy.
9 (13)
San Francisco 49ers
7-4
What a dominating performance against St. Louis last week. The choice to make Kaepernick the starter looks better every week, as he delivered another brilliant performance with 4 touchdowns and 450 yards. Vernon Davis continues to argue his claims about being the best tight end in the NFL, with 150 yards and 2 more scores. This will be a very dangerous team come playoff time. Not to mention, they haven't lost in 2 months.
10 (10)
New Orleans Saints
7-3
What a big performance from the Saints defense. Forcing 3 turnovers of the solid Vikings offense, and the key, was keeping Adrian Peterson out of the endzone. Drew Brees played another great game despite his 3 interceptions, leading the Saints to a huge victory over a great team, and inching closer to catching the Atlanta Falcons.
11 (7)
Washington Redskins
7-4
The game of the week did not disappoint, as the Redskins fell to the Giants in the NFC East crown battle. The key for the loss was 5 turnovers, which included 2 interceptions from RG3, a fumble from himself and Roy Helu, and another fumble from Peyton Hillis. Washington will still be a playoff contender, but with these kind of mistakes, they could find themselves out of it very quickly.
12 (15)
Cincinnati Bengals
7-4
What a big game from Andy Dalton against the Steelers, but even a bigger game from A.J. Green. This duo is still one of the most feared in the NFL, as the AFC North is figuring out. What is more impressive though is the run defense, holding the Steelers to under 50 yards rushing in the victory.
13 (16)
Green Bay Packers
7-4
A big win by Green Bay against Detroit, as Aaron Rodgers was nearly perfect on the day. The surprise was the run game, as rookie Gary Pruitt had one of his best games, running for 100 yards and 2 scores. If this two headed attack continues, the Packers will be very hard to stop.
14 (14)
Indianapolis Colts
7-4
Rookie Max Simpson is a beast. 200 yards and 4 touchdowns in one game? Are you kidding me? Just another weapon for Andrew Luck in an already explosive offense.
15 (11)
Houston Texans
7-4
A close win by Houston against the Chiefs deserves some credit, but the offense is what results in the 4 spot fall from last week. Matt Schaub continues to turn the ball over way too much, and the run game isn't doing as much as we're accustomed to. The Texans are still contenders, no doubt, but they need to snap out of this offensive funk. But a date with Tampa Bay should do wonders for them next week.
16 (12)
Dallas Cowboys
7-4
The Cowboys fall because of the dominating performances of the teams above them. The Cowboys are clinging to their playoff hopes in the NFC East, as New York and Washington compete for the crown. Tony Romo needs to limit his turnovers, but the team seems to be centered on running back DeMarco Murray. He ran for 37 yards, but his 3 touchdowns were key. A big matchup against the Giants this week could make or break their season.
17 (17)
Miami Dolphins
6-5
A big win against Buffalo keeps their very slim playoff hopes alive. They can't catch the Jets if they keep up their recent play, but they can go after the wild card. The defense has been great, one of the top defenses in turnovers for the SFL. They face the Broncos next week, which will be a huge test for this young squad.
18 (18)
Philadelphia Eagles
6-5
After scoring 14 points to go up on the Cowboys 14-0 in the first, the Eagles ended up losing 31-17. This effectively daggers their season and any chance at competing in the NFC East. Nick Foles is still the future, but needs to show more consistency, but the bright side is the rush attack. LeSean McCoy and Bryce Brown continue to show flashes of brilliance, and Foles will need this to continue to be successful.
19 (20)
Seattle Seahawks
5-6
Is the Seattle offense REALLY this bad? Throwing for 101 yards, and rushing for 40? The fact that they scored is a miracle. Without the talented defense that they have, the blowouts could be much worse than they have been. Although they are mathematically in this, one has to wonder if this team mentally can win another game.
20 (19)
Buffalo Bills
5-6
Nothing kills your season more than a loss to the Dolphins at home in a must-win game. Can it get worse? Maybe when your second year quarterback throws 5 interceptions in a must-win game. Anything else? When your opponent rushes for almost 150 yards and dominates the time of possession. This is the story of the 2013 Bills. They shoot themselves in the foot.
21 (21)
St. Louis Rams
4-7
Is the 49ers defense that good, or is the Rams offense that bad? Either way, it was tough to watch. Mustering 150 yards of TOTAL offense on the day, Sam Bradford inches closer to bust status. The defense was poor as well, especially the linebackers. Can anyone cover Vernon Davis?
22 (25)
New England Patriots
4-7
Whats the old saying about how everybody gets their first win against San Diego? Well if it isn't a saying, we're making it one now. New England needed that big victory, and although Tom Brady continues to show signs of regression, the run game looked great. If Brady can improve, the Patriots could salvage whats left of this season.
23 (22)
Oakland Raiders
3-8
Ron Dunson is a beast for the Raiders, and looks to finally be the quarterback this team has been hoping for. The bad news though, is that the defense continues to disappoint. The Raiders continue to be one of the worst teams in the league in the turnover ratio category, but as Dunson grows, this will go down.
24 (24)
Kansas City Chiefs
4-7
What a heartbreaking loss for the Chiefs against Houston. If they had competent quarterback play, they could have won the game, but 139 yards and an interception cannot win you a ball game. The Chiefs need to find ways to score besides Ryan Succop's leg.
25 (23)
Pittsburgh Steelers
3-8
Laying a 21-0 egg in the first quarter is a tough way to start a game. The lack of a run game hurts the Steelers more and more each week, as Mendenhall proves to not be the answer. In a very close contest against rival Cincinnati, the Steelers prove that the defense is not what it once was.
26 (27)
Tennessee Titans
2-9
The Titans move up due to the performances by the teams below them. The Titans defense was dominated by Andrew Luck, allowing 5 scores and over 400 yards. The offense has been playing good football, but until this defense steps up, they have no chance.
27 (26)
Detroit Lions
2-10
Tough second loss for the new coach in Detroit, as turnovers kill this ball club. Calvin Johnson continues to dominate, but he cannot do it all himself. The running game also leaves much to be desired. The matchup against San Diego is a much needed game to boost the morale of this team.
28 (30)
Arizona Cardinals
2-9
Kurt Warner and Larry Fitzgerald must be plotting their departures from Arizona soon. They are just playing catch out there between the two of them, because the rest of the Cardinals cannot make plays. The defense which showed much promise is slumping, especially against the pass. A win against Carolina is simply a morale boost.d
29 (29)
Jacksonville Jaguars
2-9
The Jacksonville defense is a joke. Brandon Weeden was playing backyard football, throwing 6 touchdowns. Its not like the offense was much better, as Blaine Gabbert was sacked 9 times, and threw 2 interceptions. Maybe its time for a big chance in Jacksonville.
30 (28)
Carolina Panthers
2-10
Mustering just 50 yards on the ground against a very weak Cardinals defense is just one of the reasons for the embarrassing loss. The good news is Cam Newton played like his rookie year self. But the team around him is horrible.
31 (31)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
1-10
They had a good game in which they put up 14 point offensively, but the downside is they allowed 55. Just another day at the office for this squad. And now word has it that Josh Freeman is on the block. Good grief.
32 (32)
San Diego Chargers
0-11
"And with the #1 pick in the 2014 SFL Draft, the San Diego Chargers select..."

1 (---)
Atlanta Falcons
9-2
Fresh off their second loss of the season, the best offense in the NFL dropped 55 points on Tampa Bay, and Matt Ryan continues his dominance. The Falcons will be the team to beat as we reach the later months of the season, and if teams cannot slow down the Ryan to Jones connection, nobody stands a chance.
2 (---)
Minnesota Vikings
8-2
Last week's matchup against the Falcons lived up to the hype, as the Vikings continue their NFC dominance. The Vikings didn't rely on Peterson against Atlanta, but on the arm of Christian Ponder, who threw 3 touchdowns in the playoff-like atmosphere of a game. The Vikings need to fend off the Chicago Bears and the Packers, but with the division success they have had in the past, we will be seeing the Vikings in the playoffs again. A matchup against the explosive Saints this week will be another good test for this squad.
3 (---)
Denver Broncos
9-2
Fresh off of 3 straight victories, beginning with a shutout victory over Jacksonville, the Broncos drop a loss to the New York Jets, who shut down the Broncos offense. Brock Osweiler managed only 127 yards and one score, but cancelled it with an interception. The Broncos offense has been near the bottom of the league all year, and if this team wants to make noise in the playoffs, they will need more from their young signal caller.
4 (---)
Cleveland Browns
8-2
The Browns big win over the Steelers kept them in the top of the AFC North with the Ravens. The Browns youth movement has proven to be a success, as Brandon Weeden and Trent Richardson have led this team back into contention. In 2 weeks, my favorite matchup of the week will take place, as the Browns and Ravens compete for the division on Sunday Night Football. Can't wait.
5 (---)
Baltimore Ravens
9-2
Riding a 7 game win streak, the Ravens are controlling the ever-difficult AFC North for now. They have been winning their games in dominating fashion. The club seems to have taken on the presence of a championship caliber team since embarrassing their rival's, the Steelers. Joe Flacco is finally living up to his potential, and after this domination of the Seahawks, the Ravens will no doubt be looking ahead to their 2 divisional games left against the Cincinnati Bengals.
6 (---)
New York Jets
8-3
What a year from Mark Sanchez so far. The quarterback has answered his critics with a 4000 yard season, and 40 touchdowns. He is only behind clear MVP candidate Matt Ryan in the quarterback standings. The Jets have been playing very good football over the past 4 weeks. They dropped one of those losses to the upstart Dolphins, but otherwise scored 117 points, and allowed 20. The Jets appear to be running away with the AFC East, but you know the Jets are eyeing the final game of the season against Miami as the most important.
7 (---)
Washington Redskins
7-3
RG3 has been as good as advertised, racking up over 3000 total yards and 29 touchdowns. He has turned the Redskins back into contenders, and he faces the Giants this Sunday. With a win, he will be steering his club towards being division winner. One of the most electrifying offenses in the league will be hard to stop. The acquisition of Victor Cruz has been very important to the offenses' success, and could go to be the best pick up of the year.
8 (---)
New York Giants
7-3
The Giants are one of the most balanced offenses in the league, as David Wilson is leading the way with almost 800 yards rushing, and Eli Manning is posting career numbers, and limiting turnovers. The Giants face the Redskins this week in a battle for division supremacy, and they will have their hands full with RG3.
9 (---)
Chicago Bears
8-3
Back to back wins against the Lions last week and the Raiders this week put the Bears back in the hunt. The impoved play of Kellen Moore has led to this offensive resurgence in Chicago. The Bears need to focus on taking down the Vikings for a shot at the division crown.
10 (---)
New Orleans Saints
7-3
The Saints defense will need to play better if this team wants a shot at the division or the wild card. The Falcons are leading the NFC South, but the Saints are only one game back. They face a very difficult test this week as they host the Minnesota Vikings. This is a must win for the club, and will look to shut down Adrian Peterson, and outscore the Vikings passing attack by allowing Drew Brees to do what he does best.
11 (---)
Houston Texans
6-4
The second best offense in the NFL has been dominating opponents as of late. Arian Foster averages almost 100 yards per game, and Matt Schaub is having one of his best years as a pro. Competing with Indianapolis for the division title, each game from here on out is a must win. The Texans may be the most balanced 6-4 team in the league, and will be a scary team to face when playoffs roll around.
12 (---)
Dallas Cowboys
7-4
After getting shutout by the Dolphins in primetime, the Cowboys bounced back against the Eagles in a big way. Digging a 14-0 hole, the Cowboys offense and defense showed life and scored 24 unanswered points to earn their 7th victory, and right back in the hunt with New York and Washington. If Dallas wants a shot at the playoffs, these division wins better be circled on the calendar.
13 (---)
San Francisco 49ers
6-4
After starting 0-4, and now 6-4, the 49ers are rolling. Colin Kaepernick is having a great year, posting a 104 passer rating, and extremely balanced rushing attack is causing opposing defenses problems. The 49ers have been dominating their divisional rivals, and this week they face the St. Louis Rams. Keep an eye on Aldon Smith, who is becoming one of the most disruptive players in the league.
14 (---)
Indianapolis Colts
6-4
The offseason additions to the Colts offense has been key to their success this year, especially Ahmad Bradshaw, who has revived the run game. Andrew Luck is playing great football, leading the Colts past the lowly Panthers with ease. This week they face the Titans, and with a win and a Texans loss, the Colts can take control of the AFC South.
15 (---)
Cincinnati Bengals
6-4
After being humiliating by Cleveland, the Bengals win 2 in a row to improve to 6-4, and now travel to Pittsburgh to face their rival Steelers. In a very close race, this is a must win game for Cincinnati, who can catch the division leaders by winning out in their divisional games. With the high powered passing attack that they possess, this is a very possible feat.
16 (---)
Green Bay Packers
6-4
2 wins in a row have brought the Packers back into division contention. The improved play of Aaron Rodgers has sparked this win streak, but the only thing that could slow this team is it's defense. It gave up 562 yards passing to Oakland last week, and hosts one of the best passing attacks in the NFL this week in Detroit. This game will be a true test to see how far the Pack has come.
17 (---)
Miami Dolphins
6-5
The Dolphins stay in the hunt with a good win over Buffalo. Reggie Bush continues to be the main cog in the Dolphins offense, but Ryan Tannehill needs to step up and improve. The Dolphins have enough talent to challenge the Jets for division supremacy, but they need to solidify both phases of their offense.
18 (---)
Philadelphia Eagles
6-5
In a very crowded and difficult division, Philly appears to be the odd one out. Nick Foles simply isn't ready to lead this team far yet, and the regression of the defense has led to this 6-5 record. The matchup versus the Jets next week will most certainly be their last shot at staying in the NFC East hunt.
19 (---)
Buffalo Bills
5-6
Falling another game back in the AFC East, the Bills are beginning to lose hope. Aaron Corp, the promising second year, threw 5 interceptions in the loss to Miami. I don't care who you are, 5 interceptions will lose you a ball game. Xavier Slaughter has been promising as well, but hasn't gotten into the endzone enough. The Bills youth has created hope for the franchise, and will be in contention next year for the AFC East.
20 (---)
Seattle Seahawks
5-6
The loss of their coach has Seattle in shambles, mustering single digit points in two games. This week they hosted Baltimore, where their offense was completely shut down, and the defense was embarrassed. After a very promising start to the year, Seattle has gone below .500, and don't seem to have any fight left in them.
21 (---)
St. Louis Rams
4-6
The Rams have been struggling to put up points lately, scoring only 3 field goals last week in a loss to Seattle. Sam Bradford needs to limit his turnovers, and the Rams need to re-energize their run game somehow. Steven Jackson simply isn't the answer anymore. The Rams have a tough matchup this week, as they travel to San Francisco to face the surging 49ers.
22 (---)
Oakland Raiders
3-8
What a disappointing loss to Green Bay last week, giving up 14 points in the 4th quarter to lose by 2. Then this week, different game, same result. The Bears came back in the 4th quarter to beat the Raiders. The bright side is, rookie quarterback Ron Dunson is living up to the hype, and looks to be steering Oakland in the right direction.
23 (---)
Pittsburgh Steelers
3-7
Gone are the days of the great Steelers defenses we grew up with, they are bottom 4 in the NFL now, and mustering one of the worst sack totals in the league. On the other hand, their offense is 3rd in the NFL, scoring 30 points a game, and racking up 39 touchdowns. The problem lies in turnovers, as Roethlisberger has thrown 24 interceptions on the year. After a close game with their rival Browns last week, the Steelers host the Bengals, which will no doubt be another close game.
24 (---)
Kansas City Chiefs
4-6
The Chiefs lost to the Broncos in every way possible, turnovers, special teams, bad defense. The Chiefs led the Broncos at halftime, harassing Osweiler all day, but the 2nd half was different. The Broncos scored 16 unanswered points, and the Chiefs offense was shut out. The Chiefs need a bounceback game to stay in the AFC West race, but a date with Houston does not bode well for them.
25 (---)
New England Patriots
3-7
What has happened to the Patriots offense? Tom Brady has become a shell of his former self, and the offense went with him. And with a defense that struggles to stop the pass, there will be many questions to answer. But a matchup with the league's worst team, the Chargers, could be the morale boost this club needs.
26 (---)
Detroit Lions
2-8
With a new coach at the helm, the Lions still show issues, especially their defense. The run game will no doubt be addressed in the offseason as well, as the Lions prepare to adapt a two headed attack, with Calvin Johnson being the first part. The Lions will try to put this season behind them, but look to cause some mayhem in the division with a new coach inspiring them. This week, they face the Packers who are in need of a win to stay in the race.
27 (---)
Tennessee Titans
2-8
The Titans haven't won since beating the lowly Buccaneers. Jake Locker and Chris Johnson are putting their best effort in, but the defense cannot make enough plays to keep them in ball games. The Titans face their rival Colts this week, a matchup where they would love to play upset.

Carolina Panthers
2-8
Is Cam Newton a bust? That will be the question this offseason as Cam goes into his 4th year next year. He has only thrown 11 touchdowns to 9 interceptions. The only offense Carolina can muster is the effort from Jonathan Stewart. With so many great building blocks on both sides of the ball, when will the Panthers win games?

Jacksonville Jaguars
2-8
Blaine Gabbert cannot be the answer in Jacksonville. With only 8 touchdowns in 10 games, he is posting one of the worst seasons a quarterback has had. A matchup with one of the league's best teams this week cannot look good on the schedule as Cleveland comes to town.

Arizona Cardinals
1-9
One has to wonder if Kurt Warner regrets his comeback. Posting career low numbers, the only receiver benefitting from his revival is Larry Fitzgerald. The defense has slumped this year, and there is virtually no run game. When Warner hangs it up for good, the Cardinals will have more issues that they had when they started this season.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
1-10
The league's worst defense has been historically bad. They have allowed 5217 total yards on the year, are on pace to be one of the worst ten pass defenses in NFL history. On the bright side, their offense is only the second worst in the league ahead of the pitiful Chargers. The Bucs started 0-9, and won that elusive first game versus Jacksonville, only to be humiliated by the league's best team, the Falcons. Coach Bundy has to be on the hot seat, considering his win last week was his 3rd win of his career, out of 27 games.

San Diego Chargers
0-10
The San Diego Chargers are nothing short of an immense disappointment. The effort by the offense is horrible, as Philip Rivers is posting a 1/2 TD/INT ratio, with 8 to 17. The run game is not much better, as Ran Mathews inches closer and closer to bust status, as he hasn't even reached 400 yards in 11 games, and just scored his 3rd touchdown in a blowout loss to Baltimore. They have the worst offense in the NFL, and the 30th ranked defense. The Chargers just need to think about getting that first win, and avoiding the humiliation of 0-16.
