Wide Receiver Josh Gordan calls out Offense
Josh was interviewed after practice Monday and he was all about business. First he apologize to the fans of Cleveland, the coaches and his team mates for his absence due to violating the NFL Substance Abuse Policy in which he served a 2 game suspension. He stated that he believes in his offense but maybe they are feeling down due to the recent loss of RB Trent Richardson who suffered an Abdominal Injury against the ravens. Josh went on to say that there is no excuse for us not to produce with as many weapons that we have on offense. This week is a division game and this game will give us a chance to get some "swag" back. We need this win and the offense will show up this week come "hell or high water". Our defense can only do so much but we must let the rest of the league know that we can score on anybody.

After losing Four straight games on the Turf, The Browns Executive staff say's "don't be deceived" because they are Winning in the Front Office. They have wasted no time in negotiating trade deals with various teams in order to prepare for the future. Though the fans are not happy to see Trent Richardson go and possibly losing Wide receiver Josh Gordon who just returned from suspension, the front office say's "We Ain't Got No Worries" and with a smile indeed.

Browns Vanish After Great 1st Quarter Start
As They Suffer 44-17 Loss

The Browns came out in the first quarter playing as though it was the Super Bowl as they methodically moved the ball as Quarter back Graham Harrell meticulously distributed the ball on there 1st possession which allowed the Browns to reach the endzone for six.

RB Willis McGahee who was recently picked up from the FA market after the Trent Richardson trade would lead the offense on the first drive carrying the ball 6 times for 28 yards which set up the play action pass to TE Josh. Cameron who would stroll into the endzone.

The Lions offense is very arrogant to say the lease. The came out slinging the ball as though it were a shadow drill or something. Haden Look at Megatron after his 2nd catch from the slot position and was like wth? Haden was looking forward to being locked on Mega Tron all day but not from the slot. Haden would later call Mega Tron - "Megan Tron" as they were walking back to there respective huddles, Calvin would then reply "hey man, I'm not the coach I just play the game......haven't you seen my commercials?

But the Browns would hold the Lions to a FG on there 1st possession as they attempted to get six from inside the 5 yard line but OLB Kruger and SS T.J. Ward would respond by getting T .F. L on second and third down.

But the rest was history come second quarter as Stafford and Haden were making threats toward each other. Haden told Stafford that I bet Megan Tron won't score on me and Stafford said "Do you know how many times I hear that and yet Mega Tron always come through". Stafford got pumped and began to fire fast balls at Calvin Johnson whether he was in double coverage or not, but he would under estimate The Warden who was playing over the top while Nickle DB Skrine had under neath as The Warden would jump the route on a pass intended for Calvin Johnson to pick off Matthews only interception for the game.


The Lions kept firing and somewhere in there the browns just didn't have the personnel to keep up with the various rotation forms to stop that offense as the Lions would take a commanding 44-17 win to go 6-0

Front Office Report
Although we had WR Josh Gordon on the roster for this game who probably saw about 3 minutes of playing time due to sub issues we wanted to make a statement that we would be moving on without him in the future. The Browns front office has several offers on the young stud but the Browns are looking to build a well rounded team as they are not content with just having a few diamonds here and there.

The Packers offensive line wasn't the best as the Browns sacked Rogers four times 4 times. What hurt the Browns defense was poor tackling, the packers wide outs were destroying the Browns DB's with YAC yards. Taking short underneath routes and turning them into big gains. Simply put, if we couldn't get to rogers then the pass would be completed.

Cleveland Cuts A Deal With The Carolina Panthers

The Cleveland Browns have been in talks with various teams about dealing off there Number 1 Wide Out Josh Gordon. Considering that the teams main focus was building up a substantial offensive line that will hold up against some of the better defensive fronts in the AFC North. The Cleveland Browns saw an opportunity to get 3 for 1 so they shifted there plans in order to grab a 2nd and 5th round draft pick plus getting a solid corner back Captain Munnerlyn for Josh Gordon.

The drafts picks will allow the Browns to make some keys moves in acquiring some solid talent on both sides of the ball. Currently the browns are in need of:

Right and Left Guards, Right Tackle.
If the Browns can land a solid Left Guard in the upcoming draft then it will relieve some pressure from All-Pro Left Tackle Joe Thomas (99 OVR ) This will also allow the QB to make better reads rather than looking for the hot read as a first and last option.


Left End, DT.
A solid Pass Rusher or Defensive Tackle will allow rising star Ty Laws to get more 1 on 1 coverage as well as create some sack opportunities for the Outside Linebackers who have amazing speed.

In Week 8 The Chiefs Narrowly Escape 3rd Loss to Cleveland

Quarter Back Brandon Weeden was given another opportunity to prove his loyalty and leadership in an extremely hostile environment at Narrow Head Stadium after being benched in week four due to his worst performance of the season against the Bengals with a 34.8 QB Rating.

The time spent on the sideline allowed Weeden to get more film study in as well a work on his mechanics. He would stand by the offensive coordinator like a shadow during games getting details and being quizzed as to what he saw was happening on the field. The coaches were all in agreement that its now time to give him another shot at the realm.

In the opening drive the fans were pumped as Brandon completed the first two passes that put the browns in scoring range. But on his third pass attempt he would not see the defender sitting underneath Greg Little who appeared to open for a TD and then there was silence in heaven. Angry looks, jeers, steers projected from the team and the travelling fans. But Brandon refused to get raddled as he would come out slinging throws to his new wide receiver corp Greg Little and Travis Benjamin who were fighting to get open on every down. With Josh Gordon recently traded to the Panthers this new "Dynamic Duo" was quickly setting the fans minds at ease by beating single and double coverage.
