I hope so too. I picked Houston, because they've been on a hot streak lately.

Re: Super's Selections

Week 12:

Bucs vs Lions

The Tampa Bay Bucs looked like a playoff contender, but recently have played look a playoff pretender. The only bright spot is that they only lost by 7 points to Atlanta, so they still have a chance. The Lions have an oppurtunity to win the NFC North this week by winning this game, along with losses by the Vikings and Bears. Everytime I pick against the Lions, I get burned. This week, I'm stepping into the burning building once again and I'll take the Bucs

Bucs 27
Lions 24

Chargers vs Chiefs

This is the tightest race in the SFL as the Chargers, Chiefs, and Broncos are within a game of each other for the AFC West crown. The Chargers lost last time to the Broncos and had an extra week to prepare for the Chiefs. Meanwhile, Rudy was on auto I think and the Broncos stampeded (LOL) the Chiefs at Mile High. It all depends on whether Rudy will be on auto for this game, if he is the Chargers win, if not the Chiefs win.

Chargers ??
Chiefs ??

Steelers vs Browns

The Steelers have been inconsistent this year, but are still in the race for the playoffs. The Browns haven't won a game yet, but as long as they are not tanking (if I were them I would be at this point), then the Browns will earn their first win of the season.

Steelers 23
Browns 26

Colts vs Cardinals

The Colts were dominant in their win over the Titans (CPU). This was a good game to build some momentum which they will need against Arizona. The Cardinals are closing in on the division title and are in a hotly contested race for a first round bye. They'll help their cause this week with a win over the Colts.

Colts 27
Cardinals 35

Cowboys vs Giants

The NFC East is another division that will probably be won on the last week of the season. Both teams have a decent shot at making the playoffs, but whoever losses this game might be taking the knockout punch to their playoff hopes. This will be the best game of the week, and I'll take the Cowboys by the slightest of margins.

Cowboys 28
Giants 27

Falcons over Aints (Bold Prediction: Atlanta puts up at least 50)
Vikings over Packers (4 leaf still driving that tank to Madison Square Garden)
Texans over Jaguars
Rams over Bears
Ravens (Bold Prediction: Baltimore puts up at least 50 as well)
Raiders over Titans
Broncos over Patriots
Redskins over 49ers

My Record: 96-55

Also, here's how I think the playoff race will shake out:

AFC
Baltimore
Kansas City
Houston
New England
San Diego
Indianapolis

NFC
Detroit
Atlanta
Arizona
Philadelphia
Carolina
Dallas

Re: Super's Selections

Week 13:

Raiders vs Cowboys

The Raiders won last week and remain tied for the AFC West with the Chiefs. The Cowboys have the inside track to a playoff spot and a win here would help out that cause. It’s a battle of the Raiders running game vs the Cowboys defense. This may be the big matchup in this game, but I think the porous Raiders pass defense will be their downfall in this one.

Raiders 27
Cowboys 34

Broncos vs Chiefs

Broncos lost last week in a game that they could not afford to lose while the Chiefs played very well especially the defense and I think the defense will continue to play well. Peyton will also choke the game away.

Broncos 17
Chiefs 31

Jaguars vs Browns

The winner of this game is really the loser. Try and reason through that one.

Bears vs Vikings

This is an elimination game which will effectively knockout one of these teams from the playoff race. The Bears traded Jay Cutler to the Vikings (IMO it’s highly questionable to trade a franchise QB within the division). Cutler will throw 4 TD’s this week and the Vikings will win.

Bears 15
Vikings 34

Cardinals vs Eagles

This is the game of the week IMO (Marvin thinks the GOTW is the “toilet bowl”). The Eagles offense has been a juggernaut this season while the Cardinals defense has been top notch this year. I think that it will be a close battle, but you have to side with the defense on this one.

Cardinals 27
Eagles 24

Lions over Packers
Ravens over Steelers
Colts over Titans
Dolphins tie Jets (CPU vs CPU, not worth picking)
Bills over Falcons (Upset special, not what I think will happen, but what I hope happens)
Rams over 49ers
Texans over Patriots
Chargers over Bengals
Giants over Redskins
Seahawks over Saints

My Record: 104-59

Yes, I was on auto. If I ever lost a game 56-17 I would sell my 360.

Re: Super's Selections

Week 14:

Colts vs Bengals

Both teams are fighting for the 2nd wildcard spot (Raiders have the inside track on the 1st wildcard slot). The loser will pretty much be out of the playoff race, but despite having similar records, I’ll take JD and the Colts, because their offense has been more productive than the Bengals has been so Indy for the win.

Colts 31
Bengals 17

Lions vs Eagles

The Lions beat up on the tanking Packers while the Eagles lost a close one to the Cardinals. I’m starting to sell my stock in the Eagles, because it doesn’t look like that they can beat the elite teams in the league. That defense can’t stop anyone and their one dimensional team philosophy will be their undoing. A win here would restore my faith in Philly and I’ll glad buy back some shares, but I doubt it will happen.

Lions 42
Eagles 41

Vikings vs Ravens

The Vikings are hanging on by a thread in the wildcard race while the Ravens are in great position for home field advantage (as usual). For Minnesota, it’s been one of those seasons where they can’t gain enough momentum to make a run at it and I feel that the Vikings will ultimately miss out on the playoffs, but will come back strong and win the NFC North next year. But for now, I’ll take Baltimore.

Vikings 23
Ravens 27

Rams vs Cardinals

Both teams have been going opposite directions since their Week 1 matchup; the Rams will miss the playoffs while the Cardinals have almost clinched the division and are playing for a first round bye. I suspect the Rams are playing for next year (good strategy IMO) so the Cardinals will definitely win.

Rams 16
Cardinals 34

Giants vs Chargers

Like the Colts-Bengals matchup, the loser is probably out of the playoff race and I’m surprised that the Giants don’t have a better record that I thought they would have. I’m not entirely sure who wins this game, but I’ll choose the Giants as the winners.
Giants 31

Chargers 24

Texans over Baduars (“Bad”uars instead of “Jag”uars)
Patriots over Browns
Raiders over Jets (Bold prediction: This game gets simmed)
Steelers over Dolphins
Bills over Bucs
Chiefs over Redskins
Broncos over Titans
49ers over Seahawks
Falcons over Packers (I challenge Q to score 73 points this game)
Bears over Cowboys (Upset special by default)

My Record: 114-62
