Is it possible to assign controls to each button or are there just a couple of different settings to choose from?

My reasoning is that I can't stand playing two different types of football games with different controls. When I go back and forth from NCAA 2005 and ESPN, I don't want to accidentally pitch the ball to no one when I think I'm throwing out a stiff arm.
