1) run a lot of "2 man." Its man to man with 2 safties over the top. It's your bread and butter play.

2) mix in an occasional zone. Nothing fancy though. Something that gives uniform coverage like cover 12 or soft 2. Avoid the 2 hard zone or any zone that doesn't uniformally blamket the field in the play diagram.

3) blitz rarely and try to do it only with a good zone backing you up. The CPU QB doesn't go far so you should get cosistent pressure with just a four man line.

4) Jump with your DL to bat down balls if you can't get in for the sack.


Basically, stick to man coverage with over the top help. The DBs/LBs will "bump" the receivers and throw off the timing more often than not. The CPU will throw it anyway. Incomplete or pick.

BTW: I've got Human coverage @ zero and CPU passing, blocking, and catching at maz (passed Legened). And, still, I'm killing the CPU passing game...its almost too easy to man up D in this game with any team...good luck.
