My personal franchise is set like this:

1 - 9 min quarters, 5 min sim

2 - I have preseason off because by playing out the games, the CPU will not substitute in 2nd string, 3rd string, etc. The CPU WILL use the 2nd string, etc if you Gamecast the preseason. Also, I believe preseason COULD result in alot of weird trades.

3 - I use custom sliders that end in a 1.58 modifier, and EQ on

4 - I have most penalties jacked up to max, except Def pass interference and offensive holding. Clipping set to zero, because of the clipping bug (fixed in XBox version but not PS2).

5 - Fumbles set to about 25 or 26. Someone did tests that suggest 28 clicks from the left is optimal. Using Tiki Barber, I get plenty of fumbles at 25 or 26. INT setting down all the way to zero. Still plenty of INT's at zero.

6 - I use normal game speed.
