I had a player still in his early prime retire without a career ending injury
I'm not sure why my OLB that only played three seasons retire during the offseason. I don't understand the decision because he was still young. Could it be because of the string of injuries he sustained in his career?
My OLB was injured for at least half the season for all the three years that he played. I think his injury rating was in the low 40's. During the last season of my franchise, he had an acl injury that sidelined him for 20 weeks, but it wasn't a career ender. It's a shame because he was such a promising OLB.
Is the game really that deep enough to determine player retirement based on the injury rating? I tried to talk him out of retirement, but he was demanding too much money. Besides, his injury rating was too much of a risk.
