I just played another game with Tim Wakefield on the mound. Very tough game and felt very realistic. I lost to the Angels 5-3. I didn't keep track of their stats because I'm trying to change my hitting style and it will take me some time.
Wakefields line: 6IP, 6H, 4R, 4BB, 5K's 1HR, 92 Pitches
I play with hot/cold zones on fade which gives me a little bit of an advantage on the first pitch to each batter but it really shows you the importance of throwing a first pitch strike. Most of my hits and walks came in situations where the counts went to 2-0. I either had to give them a hittable pitch or continue trying to nibble and risk a walk. It made it even tougher with a guy like Wakefield because his fastball isn't exactly overpowering.
