Just gave the sliders a try.

Playing with the Marlins, I beat the Athletics 3-0.

Beckett went 7 innings on 81 pitches (30% stamina). He gave up 2 hits, struck out 4, and walked 2. Alfonseca and Mota each pitched a perfect inning of relief. Alfonseca also managed a strikeout on some garbage splitter in the dirt to end the game. Zito went 7 innings. He gave up 6 hits, struck out 6, and walked 1. Bradford pitched a perfect inning in relief.

Not bad overall, but I think the AI isn't as good at batting anymore. I couldn't remember one point during the game where I had any fear of throwing to any of them. Maybe toughen them up just a little bit?
