Re: EA's Slider Code for actual player ratings

PLAYMAKERS UPDATED CLASSIC ALL-AMERICAN LEVEL SLIDERS.

Please take the time to read through all specific commenst that might have important information to help you resolve GAMEPLAY ISSUE's.

    IMPROVES ALL GAMEPLAY ASPECTS.

07/18/05-These Sliders have been updated to provide the best gameplay on both sides of the ball. Please review comments listed beside each slider. They provide important gameplay explanations.

IMPACT PLAYERS WILL RULE-I finally have a winner here with these sliders

ALL SLIDERS HAVE BEEN REBUILT FROM THE GROUND UP. THESE SLIDERS PROVIDE THE ULTIMATE GAMEPLAY CHALLENGE FOR ALL LEVELS. THERE IS NO LONGER A REASON FOR ANY OTHERS IN THIS THREAD. IF YOU THOUGHT ANY OF MY PREVIOUS SLIDERS WERE GOOD THEN WAITE UNTIL YOU GET A LOAD OF THE NEW AND IMPROVED FINAL VERSION. THEY ARE AS FLUID AND REALISTIC AS ANY PREVIOUS VERSION I HAVE CREATED. NEW ENHANCED RUNNING GAME, QB PLAY, DL/OL BATTLES, SECONDARY IMPROVEMENT THAT MAKES YOUR SHUTDOWN CORNERS EVEN BETTER.

OFFENSE-Notes I highly reccomend the 20/45 QB ACC setting

*For user friendly QB play set at 35-50%
*For skilled QB play set at 0-25%
*For user friendly WR catch set to 40-50%
*For advanced WR catch set to 25-40%
*For User freindly Running game set RBA at 25% and Run Blk at 40-45%
*For advanced Running set RBA at 20% and RUN BLK to 20-40%

Also do to so much disparity regarding RB Speed within my sliders. I have come up with a possible solution that allows the user to select what specify type of back they feel is appropriate to their needs. I can only make suggestions therefor I'm going to list a few RBA/RUN BLK sliders to help the user determine which combo best serves his needs.

For example if you have Speed back you might want to use these combos within the sliders.

    45/5
    40/10

If you control a Power type back then a setup could be like this:

    20/45
    25/40

If you control a Balanced RB then maybe this is best:

    35/15
    30/20

However, depending on your skill level some settings might be too hard when combined together. The preferred setting I would reccomend is 20/40.

HUMAN/CPU-Everything was set back to the Original settings.

QB ACC-20/50........(The Maximum highest setting for Hum/CPU is 25/50)
PASS BLK-50/70......(Evens out Physical abilities of OL to hold up.)
WR CATCH-40/50....(50 should be the highest setting for Human play)
RB ABLTY-20/50....(25/45 is also a suggested setup for Human rushing)
RUN BLK-40/65.......(This setting for CPU keeps Pancakes at realistic amount)

DEFENSE NOTES-NOW TOP SECONDARY'S AND DL WILL REALLY SHINE

HUMAN/CPU-Everything was setback to it's original setting.

AWR-35/60..........(This is the actual player AWR setting that evens out play)
KNDWS-80/90.......(Helps to reduce the deep ball completion rate)
INT-30/40.............(Set Low to balance out low QB ACC slider)
BRK BLK-50/90......(Helps to keep both lines even) )
TKL-35/90........... (Speedy type LB's will seek and destroy)

SPECIAL TEAMS SLIDERS-Were updated for harder difficulty on Human player.

    FGL-25/50
    FGA-25/25
    PNTL-25/50
    PNTA-25/25
    KOL-25/45

I DON'T POST CODES ANYMORE BECAUSE THEY GET SCREWED UP.

BY THE TIME YOU GET DONE USING THESE IN YOUR DYNASTY YOU WILL BE AFTER EVERY IMPACT PLAYER YOU CAN GET. THEY STAND OUT ALONE.

MOBILE QB'S LIKE VINCENT, SHOCKLEY, BALL AND JACOBS WILL CHANGE THE WAY YOU RECRUIT YOUR QB'S. THAT ADDED DEMINISION THEY HAVE WILL LEAVE YOU IN AWE ONCE YOU SEE ONE OF THEM TAKE OFF ON YOUR AZZ.

I've always felt like EA delivers games to us that needs to be tweaked in order to get the best production.

Well, when I first realized that EA was introducing a new slider scale this year I began thinking long and hard as to why they changed up their format. What I've noticed is that the new system which goes off of a percentage now gives greater flexibilty. I think that their is roughly 3 levels of Sliders hidden within All-American level that lets us play with each teams actual ratings. I'm not joking. I believe you can actually get three levels of skill right here on AA level. The one I'm about to post is the first one I came up with after long hours of studying how the percentage's work and translate over to the player ratings. I don't want to get into all that but trust me on this load up these sliders and see for your self. Don't let any numbers discourage you. Play 1-2 games just the way you see them and watch how they change your approach to this game.

Reaction time on play fakes is excellent, IMPACT players stand out more, deep ball is thrown with less accuarcy by lower rated QB's, the best OL and DL's get a better push, lower rated DB's can not be trusted in man coverage,
and most important the gameplay is a blast.

The second set is for guy's already who play on Heisman Level but if they want stiffer competition on AA LEVEL they should use the second set. It has to be done on AA though.

THe first set plays outstanding football and slows things down a bit but it makes the game so much more fluid.

The second set speeds every thing up just a bit. It's brutal if you play with th exact same Human sliders without any changes. The CPU skill players don't get any ratings boost and their defensive awareness remains the same however their ability to make plays goes through the roof.

I believe what he has done here is adjust the sliders for those who need the challenge of Heisman while playing on AA difficulty. I have been wrong before, but I think that is the intent.

I got my azz kicked by USC. Try both of them and decide your skill level. I prefer the first set because everything just flows right and the players are very fluid. If you pay close attention to the skill players they get no boost at all so they play to their true ratings. Leon Washington put moves on moves vs me and it was all him without any increase in ratings.

Lower rated players will stand out more because AWR plays a greater factor. So, if you don't have shutdown Corners play man coverage smartly.

I'm not saying everything for the human needs to be at all 0's but, the cpu must be maxed. i don't wanna dip in the pudding of guy who started this crazy thread but, if you play on heisman and you give the cpu a slight challenge then everything should be maxed for cpu...

Forget that just fire up the sliders on AA level just the way you see them posted. It only takes 5 minutes I gurantee you. Bad teams will get stomped and good teams will show up because there is no advantage.

Anyways, don't take my word for it just play a quick game and see for yourself.

I will definately give these a shot this afternoon, I think I'm going to end up trying about a dozen different slider sets before I finally settle on one to stick with.

                          Your work is appreciated.

                            trying them now..

quick question, why does the Special Teams code not match up to what you have? I'm not sure which one I'll go with, but I'll post stats up in an hour.

Oh and I just remembered.. I was trying to figure out where I heard the name Playmakers before, and then I realized..

You made a set for NBA Live. It was a great set of sliders that my 2 friends and I enjoyed over 400 hours (no joke, late night smoking and playing) of playing time. I hope this does the same for NCAA.

I've done so much testing and tweaking that I haven't really sat down and enjoyed the game yet for dynasty play. But I'm thinking for realistic stats 8 minutes should satisfy most.

I played 9 minutes Last year but the this game is at a quiker pace so 8 Minutes is probably what I'll end up doing.
