Re: Jistic's NCAA 2006 AA Sliders

OK just finished my first game.

    ND (me) 15- Pitt 31

    pitt.
    Palko- 16-26 252yds 4td

    Kirkley- 18 car 92 yds
    campbell- 4 car 20 yds

Lee 6 catches 119yds 1 td (the longest pass play of the game was 39 yds)

    ND.

    Quinn- 14-38 244 1 TD 1 INT (12 drops didnt help)

    Walker- 14 att 76 yds

McKnight- 6 catches 113 yds 1 td (long of 45 yds)

overall played good, i think there were way to many drops by my team, I had 12 the cpu had 0, kinda scared to go up against Michigan, USC and Tennessee.

      Second game results.

Georgia Tech - me (38) vs Virginia (17)

      First Downs: 23 - 8
      Total Offense: 477 - 186
      Rushes - Yards: 48 - 191 - - - 25 - 43

      Passing:

      Hagans: 7/23, 143yds, 1 td, 1 int

      Ball: 17/24, 286yds, 3 td

      Rushing:

      Daniels: 24 - 118yds
      Woods: 9 - 79yds

      Hagans: 5 - 25yds
      Snelling: 4 - 14yds
      Lundy: 16 - 4 yds

      Ahmad Brooks: 14 tackles

I'm going to have to tweak these a little bit to help the CPU running game, and their defense, maybe lower some of my defense sliders too.

I'm trying all kinds of sliders here and I *know* you always come through with the goods.

the learning curve seems much steeper this year for whatever reason. most people get wrecked on heisman when they start out but after a few games AA with cpu titled sliders is a joke, and then default heisman gives good games.

I could only manage to 'coach' this one half. I'm up because I couldn't sleep which sucks because I know when the alarm goes off at 5:04 that I *have to* get up.

ole miss (me) @ #9 lsu

            Code:

            first downs 9 15
            total offense 178 182

            intercepted 1 0
            t.o.p. 8:54 9:06
            passing
            j***ssell [lsu]: 6/11, 121 yds, 1 td
            e.flatt [miss]: 10/20, 143 yds, 1 td, 1 int

            rushing
            a.broussard [lsu]: 15 att, 72 yds, 1 td, 14 long
            v.pearson [miss]: 13 att, 43 yds, 11 long

            receiving
            s.green [lsu]: 4 rec, 77 yds, 1 td, 31 long
            l.lilly [miss]: 4 rec, 46 yds, 1 td, 31 long

            defense
            c.vaughn [lsu]: 6 tackle, 2 tack loss
p.willis [miss]: 5 tackle, 1 tack loss, 1 forced fumb

this is probably the best coach mode experience I've had with the game thus far. it was 7-3 [ole miss] for the majority of the half. lsu got 14 points relatively quickly near the end of the half but it didn't feel cheap. finally, my qb was able to complete some passes. I'll hold off on starting a dynasty until you get some *final* sliders up. yours are always good because I think you focus on the game just playing like *good football*.

can't wait for the final version.

Man, even with these sliders, I'm getting walked all over. Looks like I'm going to have to go back to default sliders until I relearn the game. I should've known...this happens to me every year.

Great Sliders Man, after starting off 2-0 in my Illinois RFTH with other sliders, i used yours then I got toasted 45-20 by Cal and then beat MichSt. 33-27 at home in a close one.

Both games were fun and played like they should have. I aint gonna bore you with the stats great job on the sliders

Jistic, you saved this game for me just like you did last years version. I was playing horribly with everybody's sliders until I used yours. Deep pass after deep pass I wanted to toss my controller through the wall but once again, you've shown us the light at the end of the tunnel.

I just had a great game using Miami v. Florida State. The only suggestion I have is bumping the CPU Run Block up a couple of notches. Here's the stats from the game:

                  Miami 23
                  FSU 16

                  Passing
                  MIA - K.Wright 14/29 213 YDS, 0 TD, 2 INT
                  FSU - J.Christ 17/35 281 YDS, 0 TD, 2 INT

                  Rushing
                  MIA - T.Moss 28 ATT, 135 YDS, 1 TD
                  FSU - L.Washington 22 ATT, 52 YDS, 1 TD

                  Receiving
                  MIA - R.Moore 6 REC, 98 YDS
                  FSU - C.Davis 4 REC, 131 YDS

Can someone post some pankcake stats from these sliders? I'm using SNs v2 (which are great) but the pankcake stats are insane.

Pancake stats were pretty big here too. I think Eric Winston had 16. Another lineman had over 10.

That's a bit disappointing, looks like it's the game that's causing it. I just didn't want to end up with a stud OL thanks to some inflated stats. A lot of them seem to be coming on runs where I've broken the line of scrimmage on a toss/counter and my OL are creaming the defense trying to chase me.

another thing I'm noticing is that with these, the scores will most likely be lower because the cpu can sustain drives instead of killing me with that one long bomb mixed in with some shorter runs and passes. it looks as if there's a huge difference in the 25% human awareness on playmakers' sliders and the 35% human awareness on yours.

                            omg!

I just saw the coolest thing. I'm playing lsu @ alabama [me] and it was tied 10-10 in the 2nd quarter. my qb [robert johnson] drops back to throw and lsu's de [chase pittman] comes in, tips the pass, intercepts the pass and takes it to the house for the 14 int return td. they now lead 17-10. that was a great friggin' play. I can't even hate on the cpu for that. :y4:

                              omg...again!

down 17-10 and in the redzone, johnson throws an int. his awareness is only a 70. they drive down the field a bit but we eventually force a punt with under 1:30 to play. my pr [washington] takes it 69 yds to the house to tie the game at 17 with 1:05 to go in the half.

wow, I can't take this. it's crazy. I also don't see how folks say that there are *too* many return tds. this is only the second one I've seen [for either side] since getting the game tuesday afternoon!

Re: Jistic's NCAA 2006 AA Sliders

One note about CPU running. I started a Washington dynasty with these sliders. First game against Air Force. We crushed them 59-7. I ran all over them, and they couldn't run for jack against me.

Next game, hosting Cal. I go up 10-0 in the first quarter. They can't get their impact HB going. Then out of nowhere he's on fire. Next thing you know I'm down 31-10! He ended up with 200+ yards on about 22 carries. They won 34-24. Moral of the story? The is great variance in games this year. Don't over evaluate with one or two games.

The one thing I'm STILL seeing after last year is the drops by both human and CPU. I'm experimenting right now with CATCH jacked all the way up for both Human and CPU to see what happens. It's seems like it's the reverse of the INT slider. Stay tuned, and thanks all for the feedback!
