I too have had this happen, playing against my friend on Wednesday I was Detroit he was Atlanta, we were playing at Detroit, Harrington got hurt so Garcia was in, I was in the shotgun just inside my own 30 yrd line and the center snapped the ball too high, I recovered but it was a huge loss of yards and a down....ended up losing by 5, so although it was cool to see, I am using it as my excuse for losing.

It is there, I experienced it myself.

This was PS2 as well.
