Probably a little over an hour. But hey, there's only 16 games in an NFL season, and every counts a ton towards getting into the playoffs. Might as well take a piece of your day out and focus on the game and the team.
I play 12 minutes accelerated clock as well. I like to get around 60 plays for each team, and that's what I've been getting. Scores have been lower then in Madden 2005 too, which is a good thing (I remember I went like 10 straight games of 30+ points in Madden 2005, it was insane).
You also have to get proper sliders. I'm just a tweak or two away from perfection. But then again, a slider nut always says that.
