EA, nor any other game company can patch a game through Xbox Live unless it is to fix a part of the online portion of the game.

Microsoft doesn't allow patching via Xbox Live to fix offline gameplay or other issues.
NBA2k5 had a patch. It was to fix the CPU team not calling timeouts.
