What grinds mine? Bitter fans who act in an ignorant manner. Note to all football fans: zero dollars from tuition, books, academic scholarships, alumni donations to the school go to pay Nick Saban's salary at Alabama. ZERO. The football program and alumni pay for it. I nearly beat the s*** out of an Ole Miss student who said "well atleast we don't use our education money to pay for a coach". Hey doofus, the only money I've given to Saban is maybe, 50 cents of my ticket money I paid back in August.

I'm also tired of bandwagon fans. Saw a guy at the bar Saturday night with a Red Sox hat on. He walked straight past the TV and never even glanced at the Indians-Sox game.

I haven't had a chance to go out in awhile because I've been working and going to school fulltime, so every chance I get to meet a girl that I like, she's either married or taken or is way too young for me. So I guess I'll be grinding my own gears for awhile.

No lettuce on a "wrap" means it's more akin to a burrito. Every single wrap, from every single store, usually has lettuce or some remnant of a vegetable.

Well they do work at a fastfood place, so chances are you're right when calling them morons.

That's not the point. I don't like lettuce, so I don't get it on anything. If they do put it, I have to wipe it off. With that, it takes everything else off. I should start checking the food right when I get it and hold everyone else up.

At least lettuce is pretty tastelss. I hate it when they do that with pickles. Even when you pull them off, you still taste frickin' pickle in every bite of the burger/sanwhich. (Same with onions).

BTW, have you Tri-State area ppl heard about the vigilante train rider? Coming from LI to the city every day this guy (he's old, an ex-Army officer I believe they said) sits on the train and whenever someone near him is talking on their cell phone in a rude manner (usually too loud WCBS said) he will take action.

He's done everything from grabbing the cell phone out of their hand to pouring hot coffee on someone!

When someone has poor cell phone etiquette it definitely pisses me off but I don't think I'd go as far as this dude. What a hardass.

Man I hate loud cell-phone talkers as much as the next guy, but man, that's taking it too far. Is there any law preventing the use of cell phones on public transportation? The best I've seen was when some guy was talking real loud on a phone a at a restaurant and this older guy (probably in his 60's) moved from his seat right next to him and just started talking/singing/making noises as loud as he could. The guy got up and started walking around and the guy just followed him until he hung up. The guy on the phone never said a word to him.

                            Here's the official article.

LIRR 'Vigilante' Rider Reacts to Rude Behavior

LONG BEACH, N.Y. (AP) -- John Clifford has, by his own account, punched one woman in the head and poured his coffee on another. He's interrupted cell phone conversations and yelled at others who managed to make his morning commute from Long Beach to Penn Station miserable.

Clifford says he's tired of rude behavior.

The retired New York City police officer, who is now a lawyer, has been arrested or issued a summons by MTA police eight times since March 2003 for his conduct on trains and at Penn Station.

He says his friends call him the "train terrorist.''

Through all of his arrests, Clifford said, none of the charges have stuck because his accusers never show up in court. The police officers and train conductors who wrote the formal complaints never witnessed his actions.

But Gerry Bringmann of the LIRR Commuter's Council says Clifford is "a vigilante'' whose aggressive actions should not be tolerated.

Clifford has a November court date for his latest dustup, a March incident in which he smacked a woman and yelled at a man riding the train with him.

He says all he wants is for the LIRR to designate one car on each train a quiet car, where loud talking and cell phone conversations would be forbidden.
