Why? I mean this guy is a Brave IMO. We need SP badly & he's a veteran player plus has a lot of friends on this team. I don't see why you'd not want him. Something against him leaving before? He's not the Glavine of old times but still can pitch. I'm surprised that only $7 million has been offered. He can make more elsewhere but has already said he wants to be close to his family which lives in Atlanta. I honestly didn't expect to sign him under $10 million for one year which is what he would want in terms of length & amount of a contract. I don't care really but I hope this gets done soon.
