I'd like to hear more of WHY people would take Ben. Thinking back over all the years, I can't really see much of an argument for Manning, Rivers or Ben to be heads and tails over the others. We can say Eli and Ben have rings and Rivers doesn't or look at career stats I guess. But looking at where they are right now I don't know.

Ben got a ring early but he didn't have to do much. Right place at the right time. Since then Ben has clearly become a better QB but he's FAR from as good as many want to give him credit for. Ignore the Steelers ring and evaluate what he's done. Eli just got a ring and was needed to do a bit more to get it but while he appears to be "getting it" even at the end of the SB there were 2 or 3 plays where it seemed like the "old" Eli was still in there. Rivers has had flashes of both also.

I personally chose Rivers but could honestly go with any of the 3. I think they all have a ways to go and have all come a long way.
