    The Pitches

I'm sure this link was posted here, but I wanted to post the pitches and see what you guys thought about them:

Pretty interesting that they brough the Eephus back after removing it after the game was launched with a roster update.

I'm pretty excited about trying this out. Getting to move the stick to start and then having to move it a certain way to execute should be fun.

Funny, they have all of those pitches, but I don't see the gyro ball anywhere (regardless of whether it's real or not). Just an observation.

Yeah, maybe it should be under the "Rare" pitches. I wonder what pitch they give him to make up for that?

Probably the screwball, they have similar movement if I'm not mistaken.

          Yeah, I think they do.

Or maybe he is the only one who has the Gyro so they don't include it on here

Other than Mussina, does anyone know who else throws a knuckle curve?

I'm pretty sure Isringhausen however you spell it does.

The pitch is nothing more then a reverse moving slider

gyro ball is pointless in all current baseball games because what makes a gyro ball good is that the spin looks like a breaking ball but has the velocity pretty close to a fastball. Being that you cant read spin in ANY of the current games it wont matter.

As far as the eephus pitch....it wont be so bad if there is a viable check swing and that there is more frames that you can make contact on

Knucklecurve...i believe Hughes and Kennedy throw it. So does AJ Burnett, Gil Meche, Cliff Lee

Brinkman mentioned the eephus in his conference call, I believe, saying that it may be tough to hit at first but when you do make contact with it, you will usually hammer the hell out of it, since it's thrown so slowly.

I'd be fairly confident that it won't be nearly as broken as it was last year.

Justin Verlander throws a knuckle curve as well

I have a feeling if I do get this game, I will pick up quick with these. I play skate a lot and am exceedingly awesome at it.
