Steve, I know you are messing with the sliders, can you confirm that the foul ball slider makes a difference in the amount of foul balls you are seeing?

This is a real simple one.

Last year i found players overall ratings to be waaay out of wack. Are they a little more accurate this year and do their stats and ratings fluxuate over the season?? Like if someone is on a terrible stretch of games their ratings go down. Thus making it more likely to call someone up from the minors and have them be a beast?

Another question for you to answer please. Are you finding the new Right Trigger control to Dive responsive? How about wall climbs, do you use the right trigger for that too or is it automatic? Thanks.

How is the overall presentation and atmosphere? Is it improved over 2k7 or just about the same. I am referring to crowd involvement, cheering at the proper time etc. Thanks!

Hey Steve, thanks for taking the time to do this. Quick question, seeing this is Brinkman's second year on this title are you noticing any similarities to MVP. Maybe not in technical controls, but maybe overall feel of the game.

Steve: All in All is this a way better game then 2k7. Since MLB The Show got an 8.7 review by IGN. What kind of rating do you think MLB 2k8 will get in your opinion?

Also, are thier like 50 sliders to tweak to get the game play right? I hated that last year. Can you play right out of the box? Can you tell us alittle more about the presentation? Cheers, Boo's etc?????????

Can you tell us anything about catcher's throws. Is your catcher able to make a "snap" throw down to first base after a pitch in order to pick off a runner?

Since the demo isn't coming out. Tell us should we really be excited about this game. It seems 2K is hiding something since the demo hasn't been released. Your thoughts?

on double plays can you take out he fielder? and also can you run over the catcher on close plays to home plate?

biggets question for me is does it have realistic wind effects? Being a Cubs fan I know when the wind is blowing in at Wrigley it is very hard to hit a home run. Some sure fire home runs are turned into pop ups. By the reverse effect, if the wind is blowing out a route pop up is carried out for a home run. I'm wondering if they've found a way to do this in the game. Please let me know what you've seen. I know its just a beta verison so it may not have that in the game, but I figured I"d ask.

No practice swings and I'm not sure if you can turn off the highlight show, but pressing any button skips it entirely.

Thanks for the response. Thats a bummer about no practice swings. I wonder why they keep leaving that out. It is nice having more control and things to do to make it feel like I am actually doing something..
