Been following this thread for a couple days. Well done poker! Just finished a 2 game series btw Ms (me) and As. First gm was in Oaktown, Ms won 3-1. Bedard had 4 k in 7 in. Sexson and Wilks went deep, while Buck put one on the board for the As off a bad pitch on my part. Gm 2 in Seatown, lasted 8 2/3 in due to a freeze, was 5-5. Only 1 dinger entire game, rest was small ball. Was 4-5 going into btm of the 8th, but after a bad call @ 2nd in favor of the As and a Hargrove conversation with the Umps, Vidro drove Beltre in from 1st off a gapper. Then the freeze came with Jojima @ the plate w 2 gone, oh well.

So just thought I'd let you know I played with avg calculated and adjusted infielder sliders, and had fantastic results. Gonna let the box cool down for a bit, and then I'll play another series w the Inside Edge turned off. I'll report my results later.

Again, thanks for the time and efforts poker. This game is starting to turn around for me.

Hmm just played 4 games using boston with both teams inside edge turned off... I only hit one homerun with drew and out of the 4 total games they only hit 2.. Im kinda mixed on my feelings with inside edge off.. Were a lot of ground balls maybe to many..

The 27, 10, and 22 hitting sliders that you calculated from the actual stats. Though, now that I think about it, were they meant for Human or AI? I adjusted them for AI.

I just played a game with Insider Edge off as well. Didn't see much of difference. However, it got me thinking. Have any of your CPU dingers been off of decent pitches? I'm pretty sure mine have been only off of meatballs.

Those averages i used for both teams and it didnt play to well for me... To be honset when i throw a meatball they usally swing and miss lol there homeruns have been off of inside fastballs

Sup guys im pretty much done tweaking these dam sliders lol... I messed with them all day and its kinda taking the fun out of the game for me because im to busy trying to make the game play perfect and in all truth no game is perfect...I have my fielding speeds pretty perfect IMO and the hitting and pitching feels pretty good as well..

So overall im pretty happy with the way it plays.. I guess im gona start my franchise again and just enjoy this game for what it is... Ill still chat on this thread and discuss changes if yall make some but im no longer going to spend all my time messing with sliders instead of playing... Anyways thanks for all your help and i hope yall enjoy the game..

Also i suggest you guys add your own custom music to the game as it really adds to the experience... For a 1run homer i have eye of the tiger playing and for 2 and 3 run shots i have that old song called 'I NEED A HERO' by Pat benatar I hit a 2 run shot last nigth to win the game and that song blasting really added to the emotion lol..

Thanks for posting your sliders man and congrats on finding the settings for your game.

What are your thoughts on whether IE should be on or off? How did that experiment go?

Poker, I must say, very good slider set. I played about 4 games and the only slider I tweaked was user power down to 50, at 57 I seemed to be hitting a few too many home runs. With it at 50, it seemed ok. I think I have Inside Edge off anyway, so hopefully this minor tweak will do the trick, other than that, everything played very well, good job.

These are the tweaks i made and have been getting great results. If its a plus or minus they are from pokers awesome sliders.

In 4 games played with these i have averaged about 2 runs a game and 7 hits a game while ai has averaged 4 runs and 8 hits a game there were a total of 6 hrs in 4 games. i had 1. i have pitch speed up to 80 cause i was killin the ball at the lower pitch speed but now it is a challenge to hit. 80 to me seems very realistic. especailly when pitching myself. Fielding aggresion i just put at 0 cause im sick of colliding in the outfield and even infield on popups. Id rather not deal with that. Im still gettin thrown out with the stealing success prob cause pitch speed is up so ball is gettin in quicker to catcher. Let me know what you guys think with these tweaks,poker has everything else dead on in my opinion as i will start a new franchise with these. If this gets too easy for me ill prob just bump up the pitch speed a little. these are still custom pro too. Ai is also scoring alot off singles and doubles. same with me all the runs ive had were off base hits except for the hr. oh and i move ai pitching fatigue cause starters were leaving the game way too early. I have pitchers and batters inside edge on too. thats it i think.oh i also use wide zoom and zoom on 30,cause it give me a better perspective of the pitch coming in.

All you have to do it hit the "X" button to call them off. I personally like having to do this,as it adds another element to the fielding.

Thanks didnt know that. Actually I dont see any difference where this setting is anyway cause they still tend to run at each other so probably doesnt matter where this is set at cause i actually had to use the call off a couple times with it set at zero.

Who are you guys playing your franchise with? Im playing with Boston.. Also did any of you add your own custom music?? And one more thing i always sign out of my profile when i play to reduce the framerate problem but i no longer see the 7th inning breakdown from that chick when she does the report... Is there a way to turn that on or off?
