No problem. I have mine set to whatever poker has in his slider set. I've had to use it on occasion, but like I was saying,it doesn't bother me in the least.

I play while signed in and, now that you mention it, I've only seen it a couple of times. With the custom music, did you have to segment the track or does the cpu know when to cut it off? Lastly, how do you adjust sliders for a franchise? I want to start one (w/ the Ms), but I can't tell if the sliders will adjusted since it doesn't give an option for "custom" when you're setting the franchise up.

Once you start your franchise you goto my2k8 in your franchise options and adjust them.. Always make sure to save your franchise after adjusting them though.... As for custom music yes it cuts the song off

I guess its just all about keeping a good eye at the plate and waiting on your pitches because i just played with my original sliders and scored 9 runs lol.. Most games i score a lousy 2 to 3 runs though

I think you have to set the cut scenes to "on".

Hey Poker, Just wanted to say thanks for all the time it took to come up with these sliders. I know I don't have the patience to sit there and tweak them accordingly. I love the pitching! Actually get walked! As I was a free swinger, I now have to be patient, hard to do at first but getting there. Thanks again!

I agree. So far, 3-1 with the Ms. 2nd game against A's was 1-1 going into 6th, but after figuring out the pitchers timing and waiting out a couple walks in a row, the A's went to the bullpen. After that, my bats came alive and I scored 10 more runs by the end.

Another thing, I dropped my pitch speed a couple of notches and turned the strike zone on. With those changes, I found myself being able to determine between balls and strikes a little better. Not sure exactly where my pitch speed is at, but it reminds me alot more of MVP 05 (w/o the colors).

Do you find that it's too easy to strike the computer out on these settings? I'm starting to think that skill slider is the key to CPU offense. It seems to effect contact and power. It seems like most people are having success by putting it in the middle somewhere and having a power/contact number average somewhere in the 20's. I am still a bit confused at how these numbers work together. I don't understand the point of the skill slider in the first place.

Sometimes yes.. 2games ago i struck 11 batters out with curt shilling and last game i only struck out 4 with Josh Becket... Try raising there contact if your finding it to easy to strike them out...
My problem last few games has been hitting the ball lol.. Anyone have any advice on reading the pitches coming in ..

Slowing the pitch speed is the only suggestion I can think of. I think mines around 60. Also, if you don't have the strike zone turned on, then you might want to stand at the plate a couple of times with it in place. I'm making better contact, and am able to influence the ball's direction off the bat better since I made those adjustments.

                                good luck
