can somebody tell me what team/mascot that is that end the trailer? The uniform and the mascot look like they have nothing to do with each other. im just trying to figure out of the player was celebrating with the opposing teams mascot.

It was Notre Dame & BC. Maybe the mascot was mocking the Irish guy. Seemed stupid to me.

Great trailer as usual by EA, which is why my feelings towards this title has not changed a bit.

Until I see 11 on 11 gameplay action, I will hold out getting excited for this title. If they cannot 'finally' produce a QB pocket this year, along with better DL/OL interaction all of this hype will be a mute point IMO.

Just waiting to see some in-game action, to determine whether I'll purchase this or not.

A couple more thoughts...

Please have the ability to complete hooks this year. 5 yard hooks are what I love doing. That will be huge for me in my liking of the game.

Looks like they really want to cater to the casual fan. The jukes/celebrations (c'mon a double twist dive into the endzone...engaging with the Mascots to celebrate?) are a little overboard.

Leave that stuff for the mascot game.

It's "moot" not, mute. But, anyway, I agree. I paused the video during some of the animations and they looked really bad, in one of them, i forgot which one, the RB juked a guy and then the after the first guy, the 2nd defender like warped around him, it was weird, you can only see it if you pause it in the right place.

Will there be actual team entrances this year?

What's the point of custom soundtracks if it goes straight to the coin toss for each game.

What's the point? Well, I don't know how they do things at Pepperdine, but at UH our band hangs around for the entire game...

Meh - all means nothing if the cpu AI still turns the ball over 10 times a game.

show me a gameplay video and i'll start to be more interested.

Game looks better than last year but like the above poster said the excessive turnovers ruined the game last year so unless that's been adressed F it.

The trailer looked great, as always... but I have to say the stadiums do look much better and have some life to them.

The one thing that really bothered me that may have been mentioned was during the part they were talking about formation specific audibles.... WHAT THE HECK WERE THE LBERS DOING??? Were they bowing to the overratedness of Juice Williams?

Yeah, I noticed this also. Looks like a serious graphics glitch. Hopefully, they catch it before release.

FINALLY, we Auburn fans will be able to have our fight song in the game via Custom Sounds, at least for home games. boo ya.

Yup...I've already got my Auburn Marching Band CD ready to go!

Did the same thing in College Hoops back on original XBOX. It added SO MUCH to get to hear the real Auburn band play during a game.

There is a great deal of clipping going on there at that point too. Guys looking deformed and what not. They'll fix that most likely. Ohhh but I know they better fix the way the linebackers line up on NG NCAA on short yardage. It's straight bunk what they do. They line up on the line in between the linemen, pushing their guys offsides and what not, pretty messed up. I don't want to see any of that. Also, FB Dive better not still be a money run in short yardage situations.

These thoughts have been mentioned but as a Big XII kind of guy (and more importantly an Oklahoma guy) these things have me excited:

The RRS is in the Cotton bowl AND the crowd is split down the 50 yard line in the vid. Hooray!

Okie State's stadium expansion is in.

Otherwise, stadiums look better, game looks better overall. Instead of the cartoony look they've toned down the colors quite a bit, which is a huge plus.

I'm worried the wide open gameplay is going to result in unrealistic results with guys juking and doing unhumanlike stuff. HOWEVER, I honestly just want the game to be fun. I have never asked for a perfect sim as long as I can have fun with the game (as I think a perfect sim would actually suck). So here's to hoping the fun factor is back in 09.

I also might add that the audible system I proposed on MaddenMania right after NCAA was released last year looks like it is *kinda* in the game. I went into detail on a very similar system and Christmas Cards can be sent to me later.

That being the biggest complaint about last years game is why I find it kinda funny that the first play you see in this trailer the guy fumbles the ball! Then 2 plays later there is an interception. Just kind of ironic, isn't it.

I see Tebow's facemask is still hideous. Seriously, the dude won the Heisman. At least get him a legit facemask. I know it's petty, but hundreds of college football players are wearing that facemask and it appears EA still hasn't put it in the game.

Sorry for being petty, but some little things fire us all up sometimes.
