Pretty fair assesment. I love franchise as much as the next person, but if the game does not excel on the field, why put the work into a franchise? I wish we could have no exclusive licenses in sports. That would make all three games great because of the constant competition. I have a feeling that NFL 2k8 would be up there with The Show 08 as one of the best sports games ever.
