They better get Money Mayweather, Pavlik, Cotto, and Wladimir.

Re: EA Sports Announces Fight Night: Round 4
While everyone picks Tyson, I will never lose with Ali or Lennox as I stay on the outside and jab him to death...
Things that need to be addressed immediately:
1. Get rid of the parrying animation...just awful.
2. Revamp the punch stick to make it realistic...same effort for every punch.
3. Career mode and a career mode. Throw in a career mode, too.
4. Presentation, presentation, and presentation.
5. No more purple headed dreadlock white guys. If it is not a real boxer, use a likeness that is easily fixed. Throwing fake guys in there from Ruddock to Judah is really, really easy.
6. Get the "guys"....no excuse. There is no possible excuse to the get the heavyweights of boxing with PBF, ODLH, Wlad, Cotto, Pavlik, JC, etc...Last edited by thelwig14; 05-07-2008, 04:55 PM.Comment

Re: EA Sports Announces Fight Night: Round 4
Not true. It has to be good. Mike Tyson Boxing was one of the worst games of all-time and consumers saw through the Tyson license (taking out the EA effect). Consumers are even better education now with all the information sharing...the game has to be good regardless of the roster. If it is good with a roster including Tyson, it will move many more units. If it is good with Tyson, Ali, Lennox, Foreman, Frazier...it will move many more units. Then add the other divisions with a good game, and it will be through the roof. Someone for everyone, but nothing if the core game sucks.Comment

Re: EA Sports Announces Fight Night: Round 4
It's about time the sports video game industry stopped acting like complete hypocrites regarding the snubbing of Tyson over the years. Glad to see him back in the game. Regardless of his out of the ring issues, I consider him one of the greatest and most ferocious fighters of all time when he was in his prime. I think if he faces Ali with both fighters in their prime......Tyson kills him inside of 4 rounds. Just my opinion.Comment

Re: EA Sports Announces Fight Night: Round 4
And I like Tyson........but I can't imagine a prime Tyson beating a prime Ali.
However like you said, it's YOUR opinion and I can respect that.Comment

Re: EA Sports Announces Fight Night: Round 4
not a chance in hell....not one chance.(respectfully).
fear was one of tysons greatest weapons, and there is no way ali walks in afraid of tyson. not to mention ali had one of the best chins ever in boxing...mix that with ali's freakish speed, power and smarts and you get a recipe for doom for tyson.
would not go past 7 rounds.Comment

Re: EA Sports Announces Fight Night: Round 4
I'm not sure Ali could've kept a full on Tyson bum rush at bay with his jab. When Tyson came on the scene he was a phenomenon even after a great 70's decade of heavyweight boxing. It'll always be one of those great era vs. era debates. I like Tyson's chances against anyone in history.Comment
