That's not true. You can do a 2 player game with created teams, then pause the game and switch the player over to middle so the team is AI controlled, then with the other controller hit rematch. Now you are playing 2 teams with all of the play in the defensive playbook (for my teams anyhow). Guess what.... they still use Bear formation!
